I'd be all over this bike if it were not for the STUPID SUPER BOOST 157mm rear hub spacing! why.... Why..... WHY?! Yes I know it makes the wheel a bit stronger - but with wheel building tech today, carbon rims... we do not need it IMO! I want to be able to use all my other STANDARD BOOST wheels...

With all that said, I have not even been using the lube Onyx recommends for over 5 years now with no ill effects. I simply use that Dumonde Tech Pro-X Freehub Grease, easy enough to find (still a bit expensive though).

Interesting when you mention feedback from your tires. I have said this before, but people either do not believe me or dismiss that aspect.... so YES for sure, under certain conditions (mostly grippy hard pack or "hero dirt) you can hear what your tire is doing!

Well, I don't know about your area, but if a Suron shows up on a MTB trail around here (and they have), it would not matter if there were park Rangers, Police or whomever around.... you get caught by us, true Mtbr's/eMtbr's and they will regret it. It's called public policing :-)

I absolutely agree, and I gave those arguments to my Bosch "contact" both times I talked in person with them. The (bigger?) issue is that the eBike motor stuff is like 1% of Bosch's global revenue, if that.... so the attention to detail and demand is very low. IMO, when other MFG's start doing...

Sounds like the motor run-on is excessive? I hope they make that part tunable in the app...or get it under control, or it is a no-go for me. I can't have ANY unpredictability when I'm doing tech on the side of a cliff!

Gen 4 rattle? What is that may I ask? I have never heard anything weird like that on mine. (About 4,800 miles on Ibis Oso).
