Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

The North Shore Billet toothed idler pulley for the Cannondale Jekyll 2 can be used on the Velduro Rogue with a SRAM T-Type chainring, even though it’s eccentric. You just need to compensate with about 2.75 mm of shims (mine are on the way from AliExpress), since its Enduro bearing is slightly narrower.

There is also a steel version, but it’s very difficult to find in stock.

What happened to the original pulley? Also, where did you get that part from? Link to the shims you’ve purchased please?

The original idler pulley had a manufacturing defect that caused it to slip off the bearing. I’m still waiting for the warranty replacement, but I didn’t want to be without my bike for too long, so I started looking at all kinds of idler pulleys. This particular one has the same dimensions as the Rogue’s, except that it’s eccentric and uses a bearing that’s 3 mm narrower.

I could have ordered it directly from North Shore Billet, but shipping from Canada would have taken several days. Instead, I ordered it from the closest shop I could find that had it in stock (GAMUX in Switzerland).
