Just fyi my zeb came with no volume spacers in it from stock. I just put one in today.

Also, the spring rate chart in this thread was pretty off for me. I’m 155lbs and it had me between a 400-450 for 30% at shock. 400 had me at around 26ish. 375 spring has me at 29% sag at shock.

This chart is from the Specrtre listing, different than other 181 listings but seems the most spot on from what I use and read others ending up with:
140lb rider - 350lb

160lb rider - 400lb

180lb rider - 450lb

200lb rider - 500lb

220lb rider - 550lb

Yeah it’s the chart troydon also sent me to go off. But your posting here is likely more spot on for those interested. Maybe troydon would be interested in seeing those numbers vs what the chart has to change it up.

Avinox alerted me about a firmware update that I installed. I went for a ride the following day and the display kept advising me that the motor power was being restricted. The interesting thing is that it works fine on the street. Once it hits the dirt, that's when it occurs. Anyone else have this issue or know how to resolve it?

I feel like a noob asking this question. My pants got caught up in the oneup chainguide yesterday causing it to open up and move. I reset it. After the ride I took a look at it in the garage and it felt loose, tried tightening it and the bolt just spins. Is there a trick I'm missing to get it to tighten up or is it supposed to be not tight?

Outward facing hex might be spinning on the T25, which is fine if the two halves hold together. Step 7 onward might explain things.

One question... That rear brake hose looks like a tightrope by the caliper. Did you confirm it doesn't need some slack as the rear wheel works through its travel? I know it's a completely different suspension design but my Levo 4 needs some slack at rest or it will be stressed when the suspension compresses.

That's a good point. I had my initial ride yesterday, mainly to dial in the suspension and make adjustments to my saddle and brake levers. I didn't encounter any issues, but didn't hit a lot of features. I will definitely pay attention and see if needs more slack. I have a little extra cable on the brake lever end if I need to adjust and have an extra brake cable just in case. Appreciate the information!

Damn, I probably should have bought a 500 or 525 instead of 550…getting a Slacker (hope it is worth the money).

Yes, it's a pretty cool device. Can measure fork and rear shock travel in mm's and percentage.

So, I put a zip tie on the end of the cable and ran my bike through it's complete rear travel and no issues with brake hose being stressed. Looks like it stays in place as rear end goes up and down.

I got the cable routing kit out but still at a total loss as to how to route the power cable through. May try to use heat shrink with some weed trimmer wire and pull it through. Just no matter what I try nothing seems to hold the 2 together strongly enough to pull it through the chainstay. Even my LBS mechanic is stumped to get this thing through. Love everything about this bike but the chainstay routing is just straight up awful.

As a former car audio installer, I have pulled a lot of wire through tight firewall grommets. If you can’t hook the fish line and the cable together; you’ll need to tape them together for a distance (~6”?) after making sure they both are clean. You dont want the tape losing hold. I suggest electrical tape, stretched tightly. I’d also suggest adding a lubricant to the outside so it slips past corners and tight spots. Many use silicone spray, but I always liked using hand moisturizer since cleanup was better. Good luck.

I used a derailleur cable housing, taped with 1 wrap of electrical tape butted to the end of the sram power cable end.
