2027 Orbea Wild LT Released - Avinox Powered

Sounds accurate to me. He didn’t want to share info with others. He didn’t bother to get to know his bike. Both true statements.

Not really, he’d have to mess about with VPNs and other stuff, besides what people can do with their bikes over here doesn’t mean you can do the same in the US.

Have a read of this thread in the de-restriction section (where the forum owner would prefer the chat) which I think answers your question. Unless Orbea have written firmware for Class 3 (a US classification as far as I know) then it will be difficult to change it.

Neds on Surrons and Strava seems like an odd combo!

Surprised they'd want to record their illegal activities but I guess it show how few fucks they give these days.

they might just have been looking at the heatmap of everyone else on their expensive nickable e bikes

The eapc (electric assist pedal cycle) laws say that an ebike motor must stop providing any assistance when the bike is travelling over 25kph, if it doesnt do this then it's classed as a motor cycle and needs insurance, license, regular safety checks, proper protective gear etc and can only be ridden where motorcycles are allowed to ride.

The ebike itself can travel over 25kph,but the motor can't provide any assist
Really glad we don’t have such restrictions here, thanks for the info.

Thanks for the info. That would explain any difficulty in him trying to change to class 3 if it isn’t available in his VPN, but it doesn’t explain whether or not it is available in his VPN. So, if I understand you correctly, the 28 mph is based on the VPN location? I think that is what remains to be seen and I was hoping for some more concrete answers. Not a deal breaker, I am purchasing the bike either way.

I’ll just sit tight and wait for others to get the bike in their hands and let us know. If the option is there, great, if not, no big deal. I care more about how it rides on the trail than getting to the trail.

Is there not already a thread in the derestriction forum related to the VPN trick? All the answers you seek will be there.

You emoji pooped my earlier question, but why can't you just use a VPN to change the speed? Achieves the same thing, no?
If every Orbea RS-tuned M2S in the entire world is limited to 20 mph/Class 1 (max); where do you vpn to get 28 mph?

Powerslider (or PoopSlider based on his normal Emoji Choices) permanently banned from the thread.

As previously requested, please keep derestriction chat out of the thread and in the in the derestriction area where all the answers already exist.

Thanks.

Edit. Additional full forum ban for 48 hours for crap posting a moderator post.

Out of respect for the mods you gotta see the answers in another thread area. Or dm me.
It’s because the Orbea RS version of the motor has a unique firmware different from anything else on the market, so it very well may not even have the modes that can be unlocked via the traditional methods.
