Specialized leading the pack...

Drop The Price Contest
Trek?
Ebike prices are off by a lot!
There's a market, but it's so little...
Imagine a cut by 30%, a 7k ebike would cost ~5K still...
I know everyone knows a friend and all their friends buy ebikes, but, I'm not seeing an exponential number of ebikers.
Almost the same.... with 1... or 2 added every year, and also 1 or 2 leaving - health/injury, switching sports, etc...
But please, prove me wrong, because my Bias says that at +5k for entry level ebikes, NO big sales will be done.
Imagening chineses copying everything (brakes/suspension/drivetrain), and presenting much less expensive bikes?
Happened with KOVE 450 Rally!
For less than 8k bakarus, you get a full "showa copy" suspension, extra fuel tanks, rally tower, and an engine that's pretty capable.
Anything close to this, from KTM, is more close to 35k!
Now imagine an ebike with a powerful motor, with good rider interface, good battery, Fox Podium Copy, Maxima Brakes copy, light and this "high end" ebike costing around 5 to 6k?
