This is the news I've been waiting for! It's either going to be the new Wild depending on the geo/spec offerings or the Pivot Shuttle AMP'd.

Understand they are 2 different animals, need a stable mate for the new Crestline RS181.2 due ~June.

@Suns_PSD know you are still healing up. Would welcome your input.
 
I would definitely temper my expectations for Monday's announcement. The language in the teaser makes me think they are revamping their website, with possibly a chatbot or some augmented reality app...

I wish I had a lot of good comparisons and things to share. But I don't. And I haven't had much time on my own Wild
What I can tell you is that my Bosch Wild is the most balanced and easy to ride bike I've ever been on. Sadly I really only ever got one real ride on it before getting injured. I've tinkered and I play on a jump next to my house with my bad knee but that doesn't really count.
But on that first ride, I've never been that fast on any bicycle and I've never been older (lol). The Geo and especially the rear suspension was just working so damn well.
I think the Avinox version will be essentially the same bike just look a bit sleeker. Hopefully they don't change the rear suspension or the Geo.
I do feel like it's nearly a carbon copy of the Crestline you're getting. So it seems like kind of a strange choice to me.
The Crestie is sick, but I think the Wild has a better rear suspension design, better dropper insertion and looks better. There's also a good chance that it'll operate on a CANbus and you'll be able to have a hard wired electronic dropper.
The Wild is also likely to be priced better than a Crestie.

I'm leaning more towards the Pivot Shuttle AMP'd because like you stated, new Wild will be so similar to the Crestline.

I was able to check out the Pivot at a local bike shop and wasn't thrilled with the 2 color options.

Hopefully we'll get some more info on the new Wild soon. From what I was told, it will be a 180/170 standard travel with an option for 170/160.

I like how Orbea let you choose from various components and custom color options.

There are still quite a few issues on their side. Even the B2B pages are not fully working yet, but apparently it should be resolved sometime during this week.
 
I agree with you on all your points! There is one more I’d add, and that is the power ramp up while you are torquing hard on the pedals. Some motors feel linear and others feel progressive/exponential in ramp up. I’d compare it to a naturally aspirated motor in a car vs a turbocharged motor.

Unfortunately I don’t think this ramp up is usually a customizable setting in motors.
The Avinox M2S can be programmed to give a linear assist to a selected level, a curvilinear assist between two chosen settings in Trail mode, or run in AUTO mode with a chosen maximal assist. The AUTO mode senses rider input and other variables like gradient and acceleration and feels the most natural to me (and others). Set it and forget it, or click up to a higher Custom level when needed for short punches. All modes allow you to play with overrun as well as how quickly assistance comes on when first starting or while riding. You can tune it to be as “chill or natural” as you like. (Turbo is a bit much for my skill level, and I only use it for actual shuttling. And Boost, 😱)

New Orbea Wild with avinox, look at that left controller, its an avinox controller.

My local shop has confirmed that the new Orbea Wild with Avinox and Bosch will be launched at the end of this month.

We know that there will be a new Avinox intended as a Super enduro, 170/ 180 travel. The Mahle rumor, pretty sure that isn't a thing. But then plans change.

It's questionable whether or not Orbea will continue to sell the old Bosch Wild, or some new Bosch variant. Maybe as their more 'All Mountain' bike.
 
This new wild launch is the most interesting to me so far this year. Any chance they do me a favor and make a M/L size that fits right between their M and L? Haha. If so I’m sure this will be my next bike.
 
The Malhe control is on the left side...If they've integrated a Shimano system and a TQ system, they could integrate an Avinox with that shifter, but also a TQ100 since Eurobike is coming up??? hahaha

This is clearly the Shimano RD-M8260 rear derailler, it is connected with an sd300 cable directly to the Shimano ep801. And officially to this date this is the only compatible Motor......
That statement is incorrect. The current Orbea Wild, in its M-Team version, features the XT M8260 rear derailleur connected to the Bosch CX Performance Line motor.

The current wilds are on sale in the UK, some shops have them around 30-35% off already. The only Orbea dealer near me just said it’s being replaced by a “newer” version but didn’t go into much more detail than that.
