So I made this basic conversion to allow installing a M410/M500/M510/M560/M600-Motor in a M620-Frame. The plates are precisely lasercut, but I didn't do anything about how to mount the cover or skidplate. It was mainly for testing the M600-Motor in my M620-Frame for direct comparison.

This is how it looks with cover layed on top. Not mounted in any way!

These are the screws that are required. And yes, the middle one is M6 and sits eccentric in an M8-hole:

It is also possible to mount the left plate from the outside, but each screw would need to be 5mm longer. Additionally some sort of spacer parts would be required to keep the motor positioned and fill the gaps:

I opted for this position of the motor, because one screwhole can be reused as is and the BB-point is shifted by only 2.9mm. The back and the front are wide open, but I didn't care much, due to this being only for testing.. For now I have no planes to further work on this or offer a solution for the covers, like I did in my last Shimano to Bafang Conversion. If you are interested, I ordered some additional pairs! Simply drop me a message.. 😎

@Tomblarom I'm interested in a pair of plates if you still have some. Can't PM yet since I just joined the site.
I bought a used dengfu e06 and that m620 is a beast and not well controlled. I want to end up with a lightweight motor/battery combo that will really make the bike shine on technical singletrack.

The concept looks interesting, but how does make one this make cosmetically appealing and safe against water ingress? I would prefer to not use Gaffa-tape.

Could you also do a custom cut adaptor plate, that drops the BB by 20-30mm, and maybe even pushes it back 10mm (to effectively shorten the chainstay)?

I have an extra M620 frame. Thinking of buying a new motor, M560 would be a lot lighter, would it be smart?

How to get this kind of adapter?

If you want reliability go for M510 instead of M560. If you want power get an M600. M560 is very loud and not recommended by most people at the moment.. Adavantage about this kits is, that you can put an M500/M600/M510 or M560 in and swap it out for an M620/M630, when you want more power.

Just send me a message :) I have some stock left. Includes only plates and screws, for now.

I am based in Asia and you are in Germany so I would believe not worth the delivery hassle unless there is a maker here in Asia?

Yes shipping is rather not considered, but I'm willing to share the files. I sent you a message. :)

Good morning. I kindly ask for information whether it is possible to buy an adapter for the m620 engine on the m510. I have an exess HP 180 with G510, I can't write a private message because I'm a new user. Best regards Marek

@TQFreak please stop posting off-topic. Yes these links are related in some way, but not in regard of this topic. I demand to only discuss engine swaps here, not controller swaps. Thank you.

@Fast and Furious yes you can send me a message. I'm still making them and you can officially order them from me. Your frame looks perfectly compatible.

I dont think Fast nad Furious will be able to msg you. He only has 4 posts. I think there is a minimum limit before you can send private messaged.
