So I pulled the trigger on the day of release of this new Avinox powered Hi Pivot Enduro.

I'm building new wheels all in lavender. Fitting SRAM T-Type Electronic Transmission. And generally blinging the bike out in Lavender. This includes the Rims, hubs, spokes, stem, chainring, bar ends, grips, pedals, valve caps, rotor bolts, fork and shock decals. They will all be lavender.

Rough thoughts of frame is something like below. I'll be wrapping parts of the frame in Candy Purple Vinyl, then putting Black Teewing Decals. Her name will be Lilly

I've already ordered lots of parts. I'll start listing them later. Just wanted to get the stoke going ........ 😁

The Wheels.

The purple rim here are the rims I've ordered. One in 29er and one in 27.5. They are 6061 alloy and recommended for DH, and I have used these before. They have proven very sturdy if you lace them correctly.

I haven't decided on a graphic package for them yet. But I do want to have a little gold, here and there on the bike. So maybe a metallic gold decal of some description. Maybe even the same one that's on my Amflow.

The hubs :

I have gone for the Koozer 350 hubs. I have had nothing but excellent performance from my Koozer Hubs. But I have gone for the Koozer 350, as it's a little stronger that the XM490 Pro I have in the Amflow. It is also a clone of the DT Swiss 350.

Parts are readily accessible and there are detailed exploded view diagrams.

Being a bike I will use for downhill, I have gone for the 40T ratchet, to reduce any kick back. And I have gone for the HG Freehub, as the Teewing Flux One comes with the XS-1270 T-Type cassette.

This cassette is the most cost effective T-Type cassette. I can get it for AUD$200. Which is about a third of the price of the XO cassette on my Amflow.

The Spokes and Nipples.

Whilst there is quite a bit of lavender in the spokes and nipples. I have gone for something with a little extra colour. They are stainless steel J-Type. Same spokes I used in the Amflow build. I have never broken a spoke yet. I will be lacing them up myself in the 3 cross pattern.

Fork and Shock Decals :

I have ordered the Fork Decal. It is below. I haven't ordered the Shock Decal yet. I am still looking around, but may order the one below from Invisiframe. Using the decals with Purple being predominant.

I am looking for ideas. So please feel free to post any.

The Transmission :

I managed to find a SRAM S1000 T-Type Derailleur and Shift Pod on Aliexpress for AUD$550. This will be much cheaper than buying the GX conversion kit, to convert the SRAM 90 mechanical that comes with the bike, to SRAM GX AXS Transmission. So I grabbed it immediately.

I do need to get the SRAM Power Cable as well, to wire it directly into the Avinox Motor, giving me Coastshift and all the other great features Avinox have built in, if you wire a T-Type Derailleur in.

Some more odds and ends have been ordered.

I have used these alloy Wide\Narrow Motsuv 34T chainrings on my last 3 bikes. They have been very hard-wearing, even on the Amflow, with over 1000km on the current chainring, and no abnormal wear. I thoroughly recommend them.

I have these bar-ends in gold on the Amflow. All alloy design, and they work well.

I have been using these Bucklos foam grips on the Amflow. The reduction in vibration through my injured wrist has been game changing. That said. They do tear easily if you drop the bike. But I keep many spares, and just change the damaged one, when needed.

I have this same ZTTO stem in gold on the Amflow. I found it had much less flex than the Amflow one. So I have ordered the same in Purple for the Flux. Hopefully it performs just as well.

Obviously because my bars are 35mm, I don't need the yellow insert, which should clean the look up. I also replace the bolts for black ones.

I've also ordered 2 different coloured wraps. I am going to try the wrapping pattern below. I'll also make the Text in Gold.

If I don't like the finished look, I'll send the frame out to be painted.

I've taken some inspiration from this bike, and have modified my vinyl wrap design, adding the extra stripe to the purple areas.

Basically subbing in black for blue, and purple for orange. But adding some Gold accents. So grips and stem purple. But bar is black.

I'm going to try these designs. One with the Purple Fox decal on the black Fork. Then one with the Metallic Gold Fox decals on the purple vinyl wrap. Same gold decal as my Amflow. Only in Fox 38.

Lots of the parts are turning up and they look amazing. The purple of the Koozer 350 hubs is magnificent.

The SRAM crank decals for protection are a fantastic design, and the stem looks great.

The Oil Spill spokes are also just what I expected. The Dark Candy Purple wrap glitters beautifully. Though I'm keen to see the lighter candy purple one as well. It hasn't arrived yet. Nor have the purple wheel rims. The rims still in China, which is a bit disappointing.

The SRAM S1000 T-Type transmission has turned up as well, and I connected it to my Amflow to test it. It shifted perfectly with the new pod they sent. Though it needed a new CR2032 battery. I also got some SRAM crank end protectors.

So far I'm loving what I'm seeing. Even the wife thinks Lilly is going to be prettier than the Amflow Liberace Build.

More parts.

The other wrap I chose turned up. It's like a Liquid Metallic Lavender, and matches the hubs so much better. SPD Pedals, chainring and Oil Spill chainring bolts as well.

I also got the new metallic gold Decals, that will mount on the purple wrap.

Wheel rims still delayed, though marked as left China on the 31st March.

And I decided it was time to get AI involved and get a proper rendering of the bike. I have removed some of the clutter and simplified the design.

I will try and get the design done with the vinyl wrap. But if I cannot. It will be off to the spray painters.

OMG ....... Was watching the Sea Otter EMBN show, when I saw the outfit.

I did some quick checking and a store in Australia were clearing out their remaining stock, which was a Medium, for AUD$59. Everywhere else this shirt is about $200. So I bought it .......

Cannot believe how lucky you can be sometimes.

I got in touch with my LGBTQ side with the Liberace Build. Now I'm getting in touch with my Feminine Side with this Lavender Lilly Build ......... 🤭

BTW ...... I've shown the build photos to quite a few ladies in my MTB riding club ...... They are very interested ......... I might be onto something ...... :ROFLMAO:

The rims have arrived from China, and they look magnificent. Can't wait to lace them up with the Koozer Hubs and Oil Spill spokes.
