Avinox custom riding mode: Set motor power to 0% until cyclist torque x%?

When setting the max torque in the custom assist modes, is it possible to move the starting point of the motor output to be further along the x-axis? For example, see my red line:

This would mean the motor remains off completely until more cyclist torque is applied.

Or must the motor output always start from the 0,0 position?

Wouldn't work as easily as one might think because as soon the motor kicks in your own legs power would be revoked somewhat which in turn shuts off the motor again.
