Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

Well, I did not just buy the cable, because it was not available anywhere when I looked. Instead I bought a 3D-printer, taught myself CAD, designed the housing parts, sourced a step down converter and a cable with matching connector (which also was hard to come by) and some other small parts, made sample prints and so on until I finally had the thing ready. So overall lots of work and investment.
I mean, I was interested in 3D-printing before that, but that AXS-cable was what made me actually get into it....
How much for the files and schematics?

I have ridden it with both the X2 and the EXT E-storia. The E-storia on this bike feels so much better! The progressiveness of the rear suspension really lends itself to the linear coil, especially if you run it in Progressive on the flip chip.

They're here! Unloading container at our warehouse today. All very exciting.

But where are they? In Germany? At a port? At customs? Because that’s a shipping container.
a shipping container on a lorry I'd say, the edge of a regestration plate is visible at the bottom

In Chorley, Lancashire, as I say "Unloading container at our warehouse today", some dealers have already collected. And yes it's a container full of Velduro bikes, frame sets and wheel sets, next one arrives in May.

Covering the label does nothing. That cover plate is not an M1 cover plate. It's clearly an M2S.

This cloak and dagger stuff is stupid, and clearly just a marketing ploy to create hype. The Avinox Motor really doesn't need any more hype. Riding a bike with one installed tells you everything you need to know.

My Teewing Flux I ordered is not being delivered to me till May. I absolutely know the timeline is to circumvent the Avinox embargo. Which is really putting me off Avinox. Lucky it is so superior to anything else I have ridden, otherwise I would be going elsewhere.

Sound's like your frustrated your Teewing is not a Velduro.

Spot on. I'm really going to miss those ugly cables going between the rear frame and downtube ........ ;)

Honestly though. Either bike would have been fine. What sealed it for the Teewing, was price and a big bike store selling them here in Australia.

For those who already received a frame - was the spider chainring carrier already attached to the motor or, if not, was the Avinox spider tool included, too?

The tool is not easy to find and AFAIK the 8 teeth ones for Bosch would not work, either. Hence the question!

Back in the fall someone who received one of the first frames said the tool was included... But I am afraid that might have been the exception rather than the norm

Its included. The frame only kit is excellent by the way - everything from the presentation, everything labelling in paper envelopes - even frame plugs for the cable holes you might not use if using AXS wireless. They give you everything you need to build it up, great to see!

Also I was very impressed how easy it was to route the AXS cable through the rear triangle - most bikes this is a massive faff! On the velduro the runs are in the chainstay.

So is the chain ring as stated, ok but not great for t type? Best to buy a t type specific?

Thanks for confirming Rob!

I wish they also included an option to swap the charger for the 12a one instead of having to buy a second one. Oh well one can't have everything :)

Can't wait to collect the frame, somehow here we ended up in the tail end of the European first wave of deliveries :-/

Yeah I agree, for a premium frame its a bit el-cheapo to give the 4a charger. It seems a few brands are doing this same thing on the new upcoming bikes. They should offer an upgrade at point of sale, but the issue I see is that they are pre boxed and packaged with the 4a charger in already.

I'd definitely go SRAM Direct Mount chainring when its available. Its coming soon.
