You "east valley" folks get more rain than we do out west. It's a good thing you're not on the ground floor because you don't want to get swept away when the cloud lets loose!

Not after you've watched the movie haha . The scene of him changing in to a Werewolf in bathroom is definitely worth a watch. I have movie on Hard drive so it will have to be watched soon.

Playtime up at Kielder for an hour or two ..too nice a day not to be out especially as the forecast for the weekend is pretty crap..

This will be the start of "Mile Down" when finished .
The longest downhill track in England ..the middle section has been open for a while now ..work is still ongoing at the top & bottom sections ..

This thing gives off radiation ..thought I had a decent tan when I got back ...

16.5 miles / 2595ft ascent

Big thanks to our UK folks and/or Stihldog for loaning us a little cloud cover to keep out local temperature in the low 80’s today!

I also met a local mountain bike YouTuber (Where You Beans) on today’s ride. Genuinely nice guy that I’ve used to find new trails in our area.

Also, if you have a Kuat bike rack with the integrated cable lock, make sure it’s pushed all of the way in so it engages with the internal magnet. Mine still works but, bouncing along the road for 20 miles didn’t do it any favors.

Hope wheels arrived. Need to put on new cassette as well. Old one not right turns out when I took it off to check the cap on end of XD freehub was disconnected and is stuck in cassette for now.
