Pic of the Day

All over. From Ashland OR, Oakridge OR, to Bigsky MT. Whistler, Whitefish, honestly all over the PNW. Tiger MT, Duthie are regular spots.
Concentrated on the Cascade Range this summer.
I don't believe Duthie was there when I was riding. We only did Tiger and Cougar Mts a couple of times. You definitely ride a far wider range than we ever did. I suppose there's more places set up for mountain biking and it's easier to find them on the internet then it was back in my youth. Have a great day sir!

Probably the last day of snow before the monsoons hit (they are predicting another atmospheric river). Chilly start but warming up.

A technical snowy climb. Slippery but fun.

Small tree across the trail. Have tools-will ride. 👍🏻

I’ll miss the ice-water. 😉

When it changes it changes real quick, always surprises me.
So true lately. We got hit with the heavy rains a few years ago. Quite a bit of damage to our fire roads and several trails. Weather Whiplash they say. 🤔

People are so worried about water on dust sneaking inside frame through battery opening. This is my commuter, 5 years old and around 17000km all year round riding, mainly gravel. There’s some shit inside, but terminals are clean. I have never cleaned this or put any extra protecion. So no worries.

My Gen 2 levo was always filthy when I took motor cover off to remove and dry out the motor to battery cable regularly. Took gen 3 one off for a look after 1500 miles it was spotless.

Congrats you waterproofed it with mud.
Do you travel around, telling all of the magic of this special maintenance mud?

These posts are always great.

Please continue to not maintain your equipment and brag about it.

What do you do about not wiping after poo? Just let it build up and fall off?

FYI I wash my bike. It’s a great chance to catch damage, and wear. Some of us go fast downhill and require our equipment maintained to keep our lives.

Others .. do things differently.

I keep my bikes in mint condition but I don`t wash them from inside. This is just show that dirt and water don`t do any harm.

The snow is gone, but when there are gusts of wind at 25.m/s, the trees break like matches and it's actually dangerous to ride in open areas you can be blown sideways out of control.

Had to Google that .56 mph , force 10 on beafort scale. As we say you wouldn't put a rubbish bin out in that
