Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

Awesome trails, great scenery and riding on point!

Bike isn't exactly silent unfortunately. Motor rattle?
Watching a couple of videos of my rides, its surprising how much bike noise there is - but I dont really notice it during the ride. I can hear the freewheel while riding, the occasional brake squeal, and the rebound 'swish' of the DVO fork, but other than a bit of motor 'whir' the Velduro bits seem quite quiet....

Yes same with the invoice. I moved my order to ace cycles a while back for the e-storia offer so had expected to pay them, but they confirmed Tia was correct.
Early April i recon.
Not happy about doing a bank transfer though, nearly got burnt by pole a few years back. Will check i can pay by credit card.

How do you mean? As in you ordered a frame but they went bust before delivery?

I was 3 weeks away from losing £5500 when they went bust yes. No comeback when you pay with anything but a credit card.

I’d prefer by credit card too, can you reply when you get an answer?

The rubber chainstay protector on my XL has been damaged and is starting to come off after only 130km. Measuring the width of the chainstays approx. 300mm (size 12 shoe) behind the pedal axle, they are around 190mm wide. By comparison, my XL Reign E+ is around 150mm, and my wifes large Polygon N8xe is around 165mm. Neither suffer from shoe rub.

They taper in quite quckly as you get closer to the crank axel - so a size 10 or 8 shoe probably wont experience this. Wonder if the rumoured longer chainstays might be better jn this respect?

Mine has started doing the same after a week of riding.

How are people setting up their float X2 shocks? Mine seems best completely open with no headroom to try faster rebound!

Also, this is my first ebike; is it common to shred a rear tyre in 10 days? Jesus, this could get expensive!

Best I found was dang near fully open compression, no volume spacers, rebound to your liking. Then save up for a good coil 😜

What tyres are you using?
If trail tyres they won’t last. I would se Double Downs on my non e (will also use on my e when I get it) as I was constantly burping and damaging my exo.

Yes mate. I was skeptical at first but did my checks and all was legit. Balance paid and got comfirmation from the guys at velduro UK.

My account on the website has also been updated and the frame is now marked as paid in full :)
Did they confirm which motor would come in the UK stock? @Velduro UK @cozzy

A coil definitely seems to be the preferred choice around these parts, I suppose it fits well with the progressive leverage curve of the bike.

DD DHR in max terra which came with the bike. I bought a few DH casing DHR’s in a sale to use, but that’s just sidewall support and the lugs of a max terra should degrade the same speed (is my understanding). I added a few psi to accommodate the extra weight, do mainly ride steep grade 5-6’s and smash catch berms, but that is fast degradation! Bloody fun though.

Just depends on where you ride and what trail types, if you ride grippy and sharp rocks you’ll need a harder compound than someone who rides loam and roots
My comment was in response to the chain protection on the rear triangle starting to separate from the frame due to contact with shoe heel.

As for my rear tyre, I’m riding a MaxTerra DD DHR. Any other brands you recommend that might have a harder compound? I hear some Conti’s wear slowly and the detriment to grip and cost.

All we can say at the moment is that buyers of bikes or frame sets from Container 1 onwards will be very happy with their purchase.
that's a cryptic answer! I know I'll be happy with the motor we know from Amflow to be honest (having ridden an Amflow).

Thats good to know. I had been getting a little nervous especially after the chainstays were revealed to be 440 rather than 450 despite claims made back in October, not that im overly bothered by that. Wondering if the other claims made then will also materialise. 🤔
Kind of felt like i was buying a new car a week before the new registration numbers are released.
