What did you buy your ebike this week?

Kinda for all my bikes. Old one had its final drop.

I got the same one. Developed a little air leak at the release button. They sent me a rebuild kit within a week.

I use it all the time. Attached to an air hose reel and shop compressor. I’ve only dropped it a few times though… but it still works. 👍🏻

Old one was not as nice, it never filled right . This thing is sweet. I really like the adjustable Presta filler. I love nice tools.

I’ll start the ball rolling, this week she’s had. New kmc chain, cassette, renthal ring. Also mech and dropper cables. New front and rear pads. A new bar remote(warranty). Fork service.
Hoping for a couple of spend free weeks now. Big mileage costs!
Some crank boots & tubless sealant, just lately I've started to buy stuff at a least every other day lol

Some new strides and some grease...

Picked up a pair of Raceface Turbine Pedals for my Crestline S180.

These puppies have incredible grip with a locked in feel!

You like red then?

PS: A tip to reduce the shin-destroying pedal strikes (you WILL get them). Remove the centre leading pin on both sides. That is the one that digs into the bone. When you get a pedal strike, even without that pin it will still hurt like hell, but the damage will be limited to bruising.
I bought some knee & shin guards and I always ride with them on. They do the job well, but the back of the guard is not armoured and the pin would make a mess of the calf muscle, if it was there!

What knee/shin guards did you get. I’m thinking about getting some since my shins are starting to look like coyotes have been gnawing on them.

I can 100% recommend the Troy Lee Designs "Shock Doctor" range. The lightweight range includes guards for knee, shin, knee&shin, elbow, and elbow&forearm guards. Brilliant! Sadly they have stopped making them!
But TLD are still very much in business and they will have a replacement, I just don't know what it is. When I saw signs of the range being phased out I stocked up, so I will be OK. :)
I have attached a link to some TLD knee&shin guards fso that you can see what I'm on about.

PS: As with all guards, check the max temperature on the washing instructions if you want them to last. But with the high tech washing tablets these days, you can wash at 20 degC, just add a laundry disinfectant.

Any are better than none . I had to do a quick stop at Glenlivet coming off a steep and got twatted with pedal in shin . Not bad but 3 months before the scar came off. Shin pads were left in shed as usual

Thanks for the recommendations. It's always a bummer when you find something that you like and then it's discontinued. I've gone just about bonkers trying to decide so I think I'm going to give the 7iDP Sam Hill Knee Pads a try. It'll be interesting to see how they feel once the temperature starts closing in on triple digits here (37+C) although, I may just park the bike once that happens.

As far as water temperature for washing, the cold tap water is around 35C during the summer. The phoenix area only requires 18 inch bury on water mains and our home's water pipes run through the ceiling since our house is built on a concrete slab.

Thanks Again!

Wasn't super crazy about the color scheme on the Crestline S180, but it's grown on me over time.

Found a nice mix of component upgrades to add a little bling to the bike.

Buying another gen 3 levo before spare parts become unavailable for the foreseeable future. It's on a slow boat from China.

Specialized are usually pretty good for spares. I cracked the chainstay on my old SX Trail about 5 years after the bike had stopped being made and they sorted me out with a new one for cost price (I was the 2nd owner).

Got me a pair of PNW Loam Grips in peanut butter color, a set of Atlas Kashmoney pedals, a Yew bell and a Ridewrap covered frame protection kit.
Had to Google that stuff. I got a Timber bell for xmas it's not very loud all the dogs here it ok but walkers not so good.
