Pic of the Day

Looks like slipper footprints , we're you feeding the Rabbits by any chance ? .

Sort off…… my wife managed to semi- train a Blackbird that came to our garden for a couple of years. Now there’s work in progress with a Robin.

One of my favourite birds the Blackbird I get plenty in garden. Had a lot of Goldfinch a couple of weeks ago that's unusual. Pheasant , Sparrow Hawk plenty Seagulls need I go on and on .

Blackbird song is lovely, sound track of the summer. Robins are nosey buggers but it's deceptive. You think they're taking an interest but really they're hoping you'll dig up an easy meal. Aggresive terirtorial little fellers too.

I would’ve been impressed if it weren’t an eMTB! As seen at a Hawes trailhead today.

Gotta love a Robin
I had a tame Robin while working in Snowdonia area in 2020/21 Because it was Covid so we were on site but not working. He started to come round the camper so I fed him, he was a young one. With in a week he was eating out my hand, within a month he would follow me everywhere and come in the camper and even sat on top my I pad when I was using it. I called him Reliant.

You've had a grand old life congratulations...but...I didn't know that they had COVID back in the 1920's..I thought it was the Spanish Flu after world war one?

A lovely 12 mile ride in the snow today. Decided against the MTB trails as the snow was too deep and I was already asking too much of my Hans Dampfs. Fine on trodden paths but awful in the fresh stuff.

Possibly my last ride on this bike too since the Rise LT will be here soon.
Deep Virgin snow don't half eat the battery ,2 miles of turbo I used 25 percent a couple weeks ago . If I hadn't got on a used track I wouldn't have made it home.

Aye, I might just ride the analog until it melts. Not sure if I want to take the Rise on its maiden voyage on the salty roads to get to the woods. That's if it even gets from Blackburn to Aberdeen in any kind of timely manner with all the travel disruption.

Yes Ken fit yi meen. I have to pick up van from Rothes 20 miles away , sna too deep to go up on Ebike.

Last week I did something different than riding a bike.
I visited Finnish Lapland to do some xcountry and on-piste skiing.

It was cold but beautiful. Nice week.
The place was Salla which is right next door to Russia. From the top you could see their side.

Here's a photo dump of the trip, dump. Sorry there's no cycling.
