The RX Connect App provide some informations as Whaapp is that?

Regarding the APP, I'm using Komoot as well. The past trips are visible in teh FIT E-bike App under saved activities. The trick is that files are not sort by dates, so you need to look at the whole list. Here is how the screen looks like View attachment 172679
I can only see the tracks that I’ve recorded with app Komoot I don’t know how to record tracks with fit

The way I deal with this : I'm planning my trip with Komoot. Then I sync Komoot with Fit App, Then I launch the trip directly on the FIT display on the APP. Track is then recorded in the FIT APP.

Wow. What app is that ?
I miss shimano app.
With shimano I had as well this info of all my tracks No need other apps
Oops, sorry, the RX Connect App is linked to Riese & Muller E-Bike, not to the FIT/Pinion solution. R&M bikes are provided with an Embedded RX GPS/3G ship hidden in the bike, and can deliver informations (like alarms) in case the bike is stollen.

Looks a decent addition - Haibike are you reading.....!!
Yes ... but not free ! It's free the first year, then you will need to pay 5 € / month to get the bike live localisation + alarm if someone is moving the bike. 25 € / month with insurance on top (Bike stolen and or damaged)....
I'm not satisfied with the FIT App too anyway, so I have added my old Garmin Edge 820 (power supplied by the bike), and later on, will replace it with Iphone on the bar + Komoot + power supplied by the bike as well...

I have installed a gps tracker device connected to the motor using the light connector

It record just tracks (can’t export them) without details of modes and other stats , show location and send alarm when the bike is moving and costs 40€ year

Do you know what this 85% means ?

I reply myself, it’s battery level of the phone 🤦
I was wondering because I even thought that maybe it could be the health of the bike’s battery and then it doesn’t sound good 😓
I’ve already rode more than 1.100 km and I’m very happy with the bike
I’ve had a little incident , the belt came off 2 times in a row when trying to climb a steep slope, finally I realized that it was because the tensioner was filled with dry mud. So don’t forget to wash thoroughly with water this part after a muddy ride

make sure that the snubber is set correctly at the rear. If you have too big a gap, you run the risk of snapping a belt.
I've made my own snubbers for my two bikes with stainless steel bearing for this reason.

are you referring to this piece?
It’s currently installed very close to the belt, But even in this position, it couldn't prevent the belt from slipping off the sprocket.
Could you post a pic of your piece made on your own ?

I've altered it slightly since I made this version, but had no issues since.
I had the type in your picture, and it wore flat and started to jump .

Wow. Awesome work !
I had thought to put a pair of washers on both sides of the bearing in order to make a kind of “trench” to keep the belt in the right position, but maybe it’s not a good idea because it could cut off or corrode the belt
Anyway I’ll try not forgetting to clean the tensioner after every muddy ride , at the end , where I live , muddy days are not so often. This is the rainiest year in recent I remember
Happy new year to all of you

I did try washers but it made no difference at all. I've only really had one occasion where the tensioner got covered in debris / grass in over 14 months. and we have some pretty muddy conditions over here.

I have made a cover from thermoplastic sheet, this is to keep mud off of the belt near the front sprocket. I find that the rear wheel /tyre dumps mud onto the belt, and this is the only thing that I can see that will increase wear.

Okay, I love Pinion MGU, but the fit app and the display are crap.

Fun fact: If you own a SIGMA bike computer, it can pull all the important info (e.g. how much watts YOU are putting in) from the bike. But the app can't. Also the little display won't show you.

I hope now that Pinion has kind of bought FIT, they will get someone competent behind that.
My Rotwild has a USB C plug on the stem, so I would love to use the FIT app, if it was any good.

I agree App is totally useless , the same as range calculator

How did you connect the bike to sigma ? Can this device make a summary of the assistance modes used and other stats of the trip?
The drive mode of the app is good and show many info. But I can’t believe that it s not possible to record and save a trip and show stats after finishing
Also I wonder why this info couldn’t be displayed in the onboard display of the bike
I don’t have good expectations about the future with pinion
Before i buy the bike I requested them some tech info about the bike and I never got an answer from them
I cross finger anyway

A friend of mine has a Sigma, I do not. So I may misremember.
I think a FIT bike shop had to pair it for him.
The sigma cellphone app pulls the data from the bike computer and pushes it to apple health, their online service, komoot, etc.
So it's bike->computer->app->komoot, which is a bit silly.
I think the sigma online service can display all kinds of stats like cadence over time, watts over time, etc.

I am quite happy by the actual Pinion tech (their firmware update added automatic shifting to existing bikes, etc.). So I just ignore the app.

Agree that the App is far to be practical. The way I have done my first 400 kms is to have now an old Iphone on the bar with Komoot as the navigation tools installed.

I get this message in the display just when I reached 1,500km. I don't know if my bike has a failure or it's just a programmed review.
The bike is working fine with full assistance available and I don't hear any strange noise from the engine.

Anyone has got same message?

It id due the 12 month oil change.
the bike shop can disable the service message.
Mine only have 3 months.
I Hope shop can disable , because it is a bit far from where I live and I don’t want to go there every 3 months and pay for just a checking

Got the same message today: Bike just pass 400 km, and got it 3 months ago to the day ... Let see what the dealer says (160 km from where I'm located).

OK got the answer on German Forums: a service is due at 400 kms. Some dealers set the service reminder message at 10000 kms, or even more to disable the message. So, no choice, need to go there to remove this message on my two ebikes...

FIT has told me that recording tracks with the app will be available in the next update of the app
This updated is expected by the end of march
