I’m trying to run similar with the stock gx crankset, but I’m noticing the chainring/chain will actually move backwards when back pedalling (like a normal bike) due to the gx crank’s large plastic “seal” creating a tight fit with the ochain housing… this seems to cause issues with the motor’s clutch, creating a brief grabbing sensation when stopping pedalling (or back-pedalling when ratcheting up a technical climb, for example)… did you have to use different cranks to get around this problem? It is an O-chain, couldn’t find a spider as I run a 32T chainring, I’ve been liking it. Zero pedal kick and don’t notice that it’s there.
Bike is RH-2, running an old 150 dropper. Sram calc says my short butt can only fit a 150 even with the new style.
