So what's next from Specialized in 2026? Long travel link for Levo 4? New lightweight bike? Let's hear the gossip.

I've heard from an authorized informator ... or not ... Spesh is working hard to release a REAL successor to levo Gen 3 ... (and Kenevo, ofc) 😛🥳
 
My LBS told me that there will be an Levo 4 "Evo" Build coming with Coil Shock an if I remember correctly more travel front and rear. So no new Kenevo.

Also there will be a ligther, more trail focused build too.

Do you got any of this info?

I was told that they had done a deal with DJI for its motor and battery set up, hopefully this will find its way into a lighter more focused trail bike.

Thats what they need to do, lets hope that they dont have to much of the Donkey bike in stock by the time this " real successor" to the GEN 3 comes out, hopefully they will have learned from delays on the Gen4 for fear of having to discount unsold Gen3s.

A long travel is indeed welcome but my bet is that there is not a enough demands on long travel ebike unfortunately which is why they stick to Levo basis.

A shame I would agree.

I assume the LT Levo will just have a different shock link so it's a pretty good way for Specialized to offer a LT version for little extra expense from their POV. There's a reason they built the bike to accept a 180mm fork. Trek also did a similar thing with the new Fuels.

It was a very quick AI job (Absense of Intelligence - ie, manually done very quickly).. The motor image was from a Velduro because the angle was right, with the original mahle spesh logo dumped back over the top of the original DJI logo (had to find an old spec motor so there was space for it). Makes for some festive fun :D

The cranks are correctly positioned, but there wouldn't quite be space for the rear of the motor - it's very close though.

I can see a Spech coming out with a trail-style bike that competes more directly with the Amflow than the more hardcore Levo 4 Series. Rumors suggest their firmware update will deliver conspicuously similar power as the DJI.
 
Not really relevant to anything in the universe. Sized the motor correctly this time - it's actually oversized in the original image. This is how it would mount size wise on the KSL.
