I dont need more power either, I would like to see a freeshift option. being able to shift without pedalling would be great and we know they have the tech, so its just a matter of time.

This is great news ....... but I also hope they update the app so that I can (if I so desire) tune down the watts for more range ... like 565Watts like my gen 3 for super range .....

Does that not affect the NM ? (Peak Power- second number)You can already do this
It's not clear, but I would say the Y axis being labeled "Motor power" means it's predominantly or only adjusting the power output. Perhaps the torque is always fixed.Does that not affect the NM ? (Peak Power- second number)
or is it some sort of combination of both ?
This already exists, you can tune this bike down to basically off. Maybe an option for a a few Custom settings beyond Turbo / trail / Auto +- / eco.. like Custom1 &2This is great news ....... but I also hope they update the app so that I can (if I so desire) tune down the watts for more range ... like 565Watts like my gen 3 for super range .....
I'm hopeful, but find it very difficult to believe Specialized would be so quiet about this. Surely there would be some notable marketing effort to bring awareness.

Spesh tend to just quietly tweek and upgrade stuff without any fanfare, unlike certain Chinese brands that like to tell the world if they have anything new.I'm hopeful, but find it very difficult to believe Specialized would be so quiet about this. Said this a while back, the motor was design with plenty left in the tank before the battery draw numbers would cause damage. So with a simple SW tweak this bike can push 25% more, I am sure Splesh has been running the new numbers for MTBFs of the motor and feel confident. Hence, that's why you have heard nothing. Also, the other reason they have done little advertising is the bike test week, Top all-around eMTB, and if they push the power this takes the air away from the other bikes with mo power.Spesh tend to just quietly tweek and upgrade stuff without any fanfare, unlike certain Chinese brands that like to tell the world if they have anything new.
Obviously guessing, but I don't believe Specialized can add 25%(!) more power without impacting the motor's long term reliability in all atmospheric and usage conditions. In my experience, manufacturers aren't that prudent that there's 25% reserve available without a negative impact in some conditions.Said th

The Moderators will be receiving a future firmware update to aid with their spelling.Non English. Pull yourself together.![]()
But I've heard only the non-SW gets a power / NM bump. SW stays the same....? Any more confirmed news about that?We can all thank two company's for the power update.....DJI and Bosch!!
The FB post above suggest that their non S works bike would be on 105/888 after the update. The current S works puts out 111/720 (?) so it would have to get it's watts bumped at least. I also can't see them not putting all bikes above the 750w that the Bosch puts out.But I've heard only the non-SW gets a power / NM bump. SW stays the same....? Any more confirmed news about that?

And do you know when? I was told December OTA, but that post suggests it’s out in the wild now?115 and 999w for the S-works
Sorry Mate , pure speculation...And do you know when? I was told December OTA, but that post suggests it’s out in the wild now?
Can understand the sales…..Latest rumors today is power increasing, sales decreasing.
I'm sure they will jack the price up again then wonder why the sales slowed down lolLatest rumors today is power increasing, sales decreasing.
Do you have the stock settings?I wouldn't mind more power to play with. Not sure I'd use it regularly, but there are times when it'd be nice. Right now I'm getting so much range that my longest rides don't even need the RE, even in Turbo.
