Hoping I can find out why I'm getting a light clicking sound from the bb area while pedaling after about 4-5 miles of riding. Crank arms are snug, everything else is snug. I don't get that noise until I've ridden for a few miles then it clicks with every rotation. tia

Have you checked that your saddle rails are not slightly loose in their post-clamp?
Sometimes sounds travel through a frame to appear like they're coming from somewhere else.
Otherwise...BB? Bearings?

You may want to have a read of this..

Could be early motor issues as Fazua 60's are notorious for being unrealiable

Not bearings or saddle. The clicking only begins after 4-5 miles of riding and occurs with every full rotation of the cranks. Thought maybe someone here with a Pivot Shuttle SL or Fazua motored bike might have experienced this as well?

It could still be a bearing making the sound after parts warm up. I have even had pedal bearings make that ticking sound. All it takes is a little dirt to get in there. I ride in an area with a lot of limestone and that fine dust gets into everything.

Best of luck! Its an age-old problem with many possibilities as to cause.

Hi ausdland, I am experiencing exactly the same noise as you describe. I have the Fauza 60 on a Canyon Roadlite. Have you managed to resolve your issue, would be great if you have and you can help please. Thanks, Edward

Know issue with the drive side bushes, you’ll need to remove the drive unit and remove the 3 bushes using an M6 bolt, once it bottoms out it’ll bring the bush out, once done grease them with anti seize, install back in and snug the non drive side first and torque then drive side, job done, I need to do this every 6 months.

Excellent, thanks for the info. I will take a this week. I will let you know if I was successful 👍

I had the same issue.drive side crank arm. I have added 5 more NM to torque the crank arm seamed to work for me. 45 to 47 NM.
The same with me. I have a YT Decoy SN, experienced the same sound and ignored it. After some weeks I felt it during riding. After tightening the cranks both side it went away and did not return...

As an FYI- depending on the motor you have, FAZUA changed the bushing material from Alum to Steel, if you can look for the updated ones

Secondly, If you used Green Loctite on the bushes you will not have to remove and clean every 6 months. Its the approved Santa Cruz fix for the creaking sound and I can attest to it removing all the sound on my Relay

Agree, working since 1200km squeak free for me.
