so, lastweek I ordered a damper bleed kit for my Manitou Dorado & Mezzer forks, ordered from Shockcraft in NZ (exellent service & knowledgeable (y) ) and it landed yesterday - not bad considering the distance & deliveries from UK based sellers take similar times...

so, now I can finish the damper rebuild / tune and discover if I'm going to be superfast on trails:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Thinking I can forgo some efficiency with an eMTB.
I live in AZ as well and the exact Assegai compound you have is the best front I have found. I was surprised of running it front and rear, but more of an issue is the rear wouldn't slide. I will say the uphill traction was unreal. Running Aggressor rear now on recommendation from bike shop and the balance is perfect.

A pair of grips for £2.

And while I was there, a bunch of bars of soap. Banana industries is a weird bike store.

Think it's the guy that once owned On One and Planet X that runs Banana Industries.
Have bought those grips as well but found the outside end on bars not tight, a bit of tape fixed it. But £2 FFS. The soaps and certain other products do have names to catch the eye😉. The socks are good as well and small jet gaslighters, for £3 each.:)
And Sram DB8 brakes £55 for full set, now in my spares box.

As you say, a weird collection of stuff for sale.

So two days of browsing and this is my purchase list.
I hovered over this watch for a long time but I just cant see me wearing it at any point over my others??? Beautiful though.

Got an Amflow PL in medium.

Fitted X0 derailleur with power cable and AXS pod. Replaced shock with Ohlins coil, swapped fork to 36 Factory X2, dropper with AXS B1, MT5 with Intend Trinity TR, replaced rear tyre with Krypototal, tubeless and Peaty grips. I had a long wait for the bike and got a bit carried away.

A new tail lamp from Lezyne to replace my defective Light5 Blip. I's got lots of flashing patterns, and has a brake light function. I hope it is of far better quality than the Light5 which has been replaced under warranty twice.

As it’s pouring down with rain I decided to visit the Wimbledon Evans store to buy my ebike some presents today.

1. Contoured grips
2. Bell
3. Chain cleaner

Was also going to buy an Osprey Synchro 12 bike specific rucksack but it seemed a bit small. I think the size 20 is better but they didn’t have it in the right colour.
What sort of Bell.??.. been thinking about one.. or a silly battery horn..!!

Ordered a new bike rack for my car.
Current one is starting to come to bits and it's due a replacement.
Hopefully it will do the trick - it's rated to 70kg! 100kg when not on the road (not sure what that actually means, as it's clearly meant for use on the road!)

Can you remove it whenever? Also what is AI alert :D
Yes. There is a separate part that you clamp on to the seat rails and then the lamp itself has a quarter-turn lock to that fixing.

The AI alert is just a gimmick, as AI is very popular nowadays. It is a brakelight, most likely controlled by an accelrometer chip inside the lamp. My previous Light5 Blip lamps had the same, although not AI-controlled :ROFLMAO:

Or as Leyzne explains it: Our Ai Alert LEDs utilize artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict when a cyclist is braking, enhancing safety by automatically increasing the brightness of the rear lights.

It would be nice to know how the Hunt wheels hold up. I’d quite like some lighter ones next time. I was thinking about the Hope Fortus 30 ebike ones (for the stronger internals) but they weigh about 2.6kg.

Having said that. My current Sun Ringle Duroc 30 wheelset only comes in at just under 2kg so maybe lighter wheels on a full fat aren’t necessary.

You’re look nice though.
