Velduro Rogue 170/165 mullet Enduro with DJI

Anyone from NZ (or anywhere) on this forum who has a Rogue and running a coil?? I'm trying to choose a coil spring and I'm getting quite a range of recommendations.

I’ve just done a geo comparison and the sizing is very similar to the Specialized Enduro for S3/M and L/S4.

I have an S3, which I like but feel is too small and I have tried an S4 and it felt too big. Lots of other manufacturers large fall between the 2, might be a deal breaker for me unfortunately.

bs. you can’t compare static geometry when one of the bikes has way longer chainstays at sag

Nice article on the Rogue up on Spoke Magazine

How would you suggest you compare, none of us have the bike in front of us to sit on or measure so there's not much else you can do right?

I owned an S4 Enduro too, after demoing the S3 and finding it a tad small. The S4 in the long run felt too big and I was glad to move on to a bike with a 475mm reach. I feel the same about the Velduro, M might be too small (though it is a little bigger than the S3 Enduro), and L is probably too big...

People getting delivery’s already? Are you a retail customer? Pics pics pics!
Nice to have all paper bags too.

put a 180mm fork in and you reduce the reach. with the longer cs, you’ll probably gonna ride more upright too, because less pressure on the front needed by leaning forward, which means you can have your handlebars higher, which also reduces reach

I should have in 2 weeks. I've got the coil shock already and just waiting for my frame. What spring rates were you thinking?

XL frames being prepped to leave the factory. Hoping mine is one of them.

Hi everyone,

A quick update from Velduro UK. Frame-only pre-orders open tomorrow (Saturday 25th October) at 9am!

We’ve had an overwhelming number of enquiries about the Rogue, so we’re expecting strong demand over the weekend. Our first UK drop is due Spring 2026.

We know it’s frustrating that no one has had a chance to test the bike just yet, but rest assured, your deposit is fully refundable if you change your mind before the final balance is due.

A few sample bikes will be landing in the UK next week, mainly for media and content creation, so expect to see reviews, first looks, and a dream build video very soon.

We’re super excited to finally get the Rogue on UK soil and can’t wait to see all the custom builds that follow. This frame and drive system really are something special (though we might be a little biased!).

Velduro might be a small, niche brand right now, but its ambitions are much bigger. We offer industry leading tech but with a personal touch when required, and thats the same philosophy we bring to the EMTB market with our unique frame-only offering, giving you the rider a chance to personalise your very own dream-build from the very beginning.

If you’ve got any questions, drop us a line at [email protected] and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can.

Cheers,
The Velduro UK Team

Do I pre order without demoing?? 🤷‍♂️🤔
Im between sizes so im not pre-ordering both a M and L.
Also I'm slightly concerned the geo chart hasn't been updated to show the longer chainstays for L and above from the whole mk1 / mk2 confusion a page or so back.
Plus the rumours of the avinox m2 floating around for next year.
Ive sold my ksl in readiness for buying this, but may just hold off till next year now.

I’m sure the M will be too small for me, so it’s if I can make an L feel small enough, so preordered L and will trial in advance of final payment.
Trucks like saddle forward, short stem and high rise bars could solve it especially with MX wheels.

Longer chainstays aren’t coming till next year :)

I thought it had been stated that there is only 1 mk, the other was prototype/pre-production?
Although geo does state the same chain stays on all sizes… yes confusing.

Regarding the new avionox rumour, it’s so say heavier and my friends with amflows have had no heat problems (or any problems at all) so I can’t see the benefit.

Yes the uk bikes due next year should be the mk2/production, although im still confused what they are currently selling in other countries, but ultimately that doesn't affect me. So the geo chart should certainly be updated on the uk site.
You are right the m1 motor is more than adequate, although i would be pissed to get a bike in April to find a new motor announced in may.

This ticks a lot of boxes for me to replace the Pole Voima, but would like to swing a leg over a Large when available to see what the reach is like before pushing go...

A huge thank you to everyone who’s pre-ordered a Rogue frameset this weekend. We really appreciate your confidence in Velduro at this early stage and we’re genuinely stoked to have so many of you on board already!

Regarding the comments above, there’s not much more we can share just yet, but what we can say is that no one will be disappointed with the frameset they receive in spring 2026.

We’re counting down the days until we can finally show you what makes this bike so special. Thanks again for all the support, it means a lot to our small but ambitious team 👊
