In that case, your X0 cassette should also have a red circle. This red circle is designed to help position the cassette correctly on the freehub body, ensuring the spacing between the cogs is accurate during installation.
I guess u got something mixed up in your reply @Amflow_Support ;-). The red ring shows the setup cog for the correct chain position in order to tighten the derailleur. However, for certain bikes SRAM recommends a different than the red setup cog. I just want to make sure that for AMFLOW PL the red cog is the correct one to set the chain to when tightening the derailleur.
Bye

Did you drop the 600Wh battery option?

Will you offer direct to consumer in the U.S.? Just curious as I know shops have them in already.
Thank you for your inquiry! Could you please clarify whether you are referring to the Amflow bike with a 600Wh battery or the standalone sale of the 600Wh battery? If you are inquiring about the standalone sale, we sincerely apologize that we do not currently support the individual sale of batteries. Regarding our sales in the US, we are scheduled to launch our sales in the US very soon, with an estimated time frame of approximately two months. However, at this moment, we do not have any further relevant information. We sincerely invite you to subscribe on our official site:Amflow PL Electric Mountain Bike - Power to the Peak - Amflow (United Kingdom), where you will receive updates immediately.

Looking forward to the ability to buy a second battery. Thanks for the update.

Loving my Amflow pro. One suggestion would be that the speed presentation is left justified (rather than right justified) so that it does not jump around the screen when switching between values. Each time the speed is say 20.1 vs 20.2 or 20.0 it moves rightwards on the screen. I find that distracting!

Thank you for your confirmation.

At this moment, we can confirm that 800Wh models will be available for future sales in the US.
Regarding the 600 Wh version, we do not have any relevant information at this time. We suggest referring to the actual models released for the most accurate and up-to-date details.

Where can I get a spare headset?
I can't buy it off the amflow site in my region (eu) and it's also not available where I bught the bike.

Hi @Amflow_Support ,

I've just picked up my Amflow Carbon PL 800w. I'm interested to know if there is a recommended charging policy to maintain the battery in its best condition?

I keep my bike in the garage in the UK, so the battery stays at fairly moderate temps (not too hot or too cold).

With my last bike, I used to ride it and leave the battery at a moderate level and only charge it the morning that I would ride it, so it was left in a partially discharged condition most of the time. Is that a good approach with the Amflow?

This bike has the ability to control the maximum charging level via the app. I have just set it to 80%. What should I set it to for maximum battery life? I do not need a 100% charge for most of my rides, which are usually only 1-2 hours. So, I do not need to fully charge it and will happily have it recharged to a lower level if that will maintain battery condition the best.

Please help me (and others) understand the best approach.

Thanks in advance!
Blakey

May I confirm if you are referring to the headset bearing? If so, please contact us at [email protected]. You can purchase it through our after-sales channel.

Hi Blakey,

Thank you for reaching out to us!

We really appreciate your attention to battery health. Regarding the self-discharge logic, it only activates after the battery has been idle for 7 or 30 days, so it’s perfectly fine to keep the battery at a moderate level after your daily rides.

For daily storage, we recommend keeping the battery charge between 40% and 65%. Our battery is equipped with a Battery Management System, so even if you don’t fully charge it, the battery health will be well protected. Setting a maximum charge percentage in the app will not negatively affect the battery, and your current setting of 80% is absolutely fine.

Just make sure to charge and store the battery in temperatures between 0°C and 40°C for optimal performance.

If you have any other questions, feel free to let us know!

Best regards,
Amflow Support

Thanks, I have been in contact with amflow and gotten the parts I needed. Very good experience. Thanks again.

Hi, Sorry for the misunderstanding in our previous reply. To clarify, the red ring on the cassette is indeed the reference cog for setting up the rear derailleur. Thank you for pointing this out!

I have installed a sim card (GiffGaff UK) with a data addon and I've enabled all neccessary bike protection options in the Axinox app and enabled Bike Connectivity (SIM) however I only get tracking if the screen is turned on?

The app shows there is 4G signal but no GNSS?

Is GiffGaff just not compatible or is there something I'm missing?

Thanks

I also installed a sim, it always gives me red and an X on the 4G signal, only once I managed to receive a signal with 4 bars and it worked great even with the display off, I'm starting to think that not all sims are compatible, I have to try with a sim that is not 5G

So I spoke with Amflow chat on their website (who are always awesome btw)

They confirmed that in order for the location to update you need GNSS signal AND 4G signal if the bike is powered off.

So GiffGaff works for those in the UK.

I'm not sure if different providers would yield a better GNSS signal as it's separate from 4G signal!

💡IDEA: Chain lube mode - slowly rotate the motor backwards to facilitate cleaning and lubing the chain.

Speaking of ideas - Have you thought about opening the product backlog and allowing users to vote and comment?

Thank you for your feedback.

Since you’re seeing a 4G signal, your SIM card should be compatible. If the GNSS signal is not working properly, please try placing the bike in an open area without any signal interference to see if the GNSS signal and location information return to normal.

May I ask which country you are in? Also, can your current SIM card work normally in your mobile phone? If it works fine in your phone, we recommend trying to set up the APN. In the Avinox Ride APP, click the "Cloud" option and select "Configure APN Settings" at the bottom of the screen.

Thank you for your great suggestions!

The "chain lube mode" idea sounds very practical and helpful—we will share this with our product team for evaluation.

Regarding opening the product backlog for public voting and comments, we completely understand your thoughts. At the moment, this may not be available yet, but we are actively collecting feedback and suggestions from Amflow Riders and will make sure to pass them on to our relevant teams.

Hi, thanks for the help: the SIM works normally on the cell phone, in fact before installing it I tried it on a cell phone by also deleting the PIN, the APN is configured correctly, I remember that however by playing between automatic and manual APN, once I managed to get the signal bars on the display and I managed to connect remotely, but once I turned it off and on again it always appears red and I see an X on the signal, I played with the APN again, but this time I was unable to get anything.

Thank you for providing such detailed information. May I ask if you have tried using a different SIM card to see if the issue persists?

Amflow_Support - can the new DJI Osmo Action 360 connect to the bike and get the data overlay ?

Hello,

I was very excited to purchase an Amflow PL with the idea to do upgrades with existing parts I already own. Very sad to find that my expensive carbon wheels will not work as the speed sensor is six bolt and my hubs are centerlock.

Is there an adaptor to be found to use the current six bolt sensor on centerlock hubs? Or maybe a planned new centerlock sensor to be introduced soon?

Thank you!

You can get adaptors from many places and manufacturers, I have used one, no special or complicated

Thanks Link. Somehow in all my searches a generic adaptor did not come up as a solution. I was making it too complex. Just ordered two adapters, delivered tomorrow!
