Levo Gen 4 Specialized Gen 4 Levo - Official Thread

Yesterday went to the LBS to pick up my G4 expert, 1300km, 2 months routine maintenance, bike is perfect. He showed me the new battery support he changed on a few G4, mostly carbon pro. Note the springs on the new support.

Will they have this part retrofitted to all sold bikes?

I you have a connection problem yes otherwise no.
I guess it will be as with the charging door on G3 with plastic hinge and was updated to one with metal hinge.

Are you sure? Mine hasn't thrown any codes and my bike shop is getting me a new one.

Have not seen it anywhere but does anybody have any news on the 600Wh battery availability?

Hi there.
I’m just asking out of curiosity in relation with security features of the bike. (I don’t have it yet, Just planning)

1.: If the MasterMind display is removed from the bicycle and placed in a location away from the bicycle, what will the "Find My" app detect, the bicycle or the display?

2. If the bicycle is locked with a code and the MasterMind display is removed and replaced with another MasterMind that was not previously locked, will the bicycle turn on without needing to enter the code from the original MasterMind?

3. Is there anyway to lock the battery? Any kind of security bolt in aftermarket ?

sorry for the bizarre questions 😉
thanks in advance

My bike is finally here:

Have some trouble with the chainguard. I can not fix it properly. Maybe i get a new one.

Otherwise this thing rips. Real nice bike. First ride same range as my friend on his older gen 4 bosch.

Are you guys running the bike in short or long?

Very nice looking. The gold fork looks sweet.
I'm running mine in short, but I might experiment with long to see if I prefer it.

There is s chart in the manual that has all the BB heights in all the settings.

I have the "service due" message appearing when I turn the bike on. I had previously turned this off using the Specialized phone app, but yesterday the bike was reset and it has started appearing again. I can no longer find the option to turn this off in the app. Does anyone know how turn it off? I know a dealer can do it using a computer.

I wish reviewers would talk about value, rather than "is it worth it". For some people, it's easily worth it. For others, not even close. Value for money is much more objective. Most e-bike brands don't give you good value for money, but some do.

Hey all,

What do you think about the cascade long link for the gen 4
170mm travel and 230x65 shock

Is it worth it ?

TIA
The gen 4 links aren’t on the market yet. Early August before they are available.

I notice their new link doesn't have a weight limit posted. Hopefully that's not just an oversight, as I'm like ~215 geared up.
