Fox 36 Float Performance GRIP Boost MTB Forks 29" - Paint Defect

£249
Merlin Cycles

Obviously they were never £970, thats the original 'rrp' but are normally about 500-600, so if you dont mind a bit of paint damage, its probably a good 60% off

Morrisons have got changing robes for £35 if you've got a More card.

There's been a few tyre deals recently.

I got a Kryptotal rear from Merlin for £30 and a couple of Argotals from Banana industries for £15 a piece.

Also got a Mazza from BikeInn for £30. I really didn't need any more tyres but I've wanted to try the Contis for a while but £60/70 each was a bit steep for an experiment.

Well exactly, not chucking £60+ per tyre just to find out what they're like.

I would like to thank you personally for Banana industries. I spent 3-4 hours today, between pesky work stuff, going through their weird and wonderful website.

Pretty sure it's the guy who used to own On One/Planet X. It's certainly...idiosyncratic.

I bought the banana industries argotal as it was advertised as the soft compound heavy casing, they delivered a hard compond trail casing, I asked for the soft but they don't have it and said it was incorreclty listed.

There's no labels or anything, you have to decipher conti's symbols, the middle one should have 3/4 solid white circles for enduro but the trail casing has 0/4

Yeah mine were Trail Endurance when they arrived too. Compound wise, they dont really feel any different from the Kryptotal Enduro Soft that I've got in the garage though.

They're obviously a less substantial carcass but the rubber feels very similar. Not sure whether to keep them or send them back. It's annoying that they're different from what I thought I was getting but for £15 each, they're still good value.

DT Swiss HX 1700 LS 29" 30mm Boost Shimano Micro Spline (front and back) €290

Or just the front for €130

The HX 1700 LS 19" are back, but now for 400 EUR. They are the LS version, eventhough it does not say on the text, but it shows in the images.

I ordered them thinking they were the non-LS version for my Orbea Wild, since I don't usually cause much damage to my wheels, I will still give them a go.

Not exactly a looker but arguably a lot of bike for the money. 625 battery bit of a buzz kill & calling it the RIP is definitely what were they thinking?

Thing is the more you look at that top tube, the more you realise it's a design choice. It's not a compromise for geometry or to get out of something's way, they designed it that way because it's how they wanted it to look. I don't trust these people.

Anyone came across any cube one44 bikes in a M for £3400 or cheaper? Can only see ofd one77 going cheaper?

Give Joe a call at Freeborn Cycles in Horsham, they do some good deals on Cube, but don't expect them to be advertising it on their website
Will do Thanks, Purchased a couple of bikes already from Joe 👍

Could I ask if there are any thoughts on traveling with a Lithium battery. I am riding a new Cube 177 for a month in Switzerland and then traveling back to Hawaii. Somewhere along the line I need to sell or store the Bosch power tube 800 battery and find a second one for the US. I assume that the battery will not be able to be shipped so I will need to find a company that will ship a new battery to the US.

Batteries can be shipped just not by air, if you don’t mind waiting a few months.

Anyone looking for a replacement or spare dropper post for their Specialized Levo or other bike with a 34.9 mm seat post diameter can currently get a Limotec A1m with 150 or 170 mm for just 20 € at bike-discount.de!
I ordered one last month and am very happy with it, despite it being a bit heavier than the original (X-Fusion) dropper. It comes with wire and lever, but I kept using the original one that came with my Levo SL.

See a lot of cheap tyres but smaller 2.4 etc . Would there be much difference compared to 2.6 .
