Not gonna happen, as this would represent great hazard, imagine falling while using walk assist and bike somehow pushes you over the cliff ... Or you fall and get your fingers between chain and chainring ...
I hope it doesn't say on my gravestone that I died because i got my hand stuck in the chain, walking my bike and then it flung me down a cliff.

Thank the lord for that extremely inconvenient safety feature.

Hi there
my amflow pl is sending data to STRAVA app , since this bike has many other sensors is there any third party support or other links how to > question> is there any change upload those rides to Garmin connect ?
since I dont want to run on both > turned watch on for e-bike ride
and amflow pl automatically to strava
after a ride I do have 2 same rides....
how to avoid it (don't mean each time to one drive erase it) but since AM- PL has more sensors except hearth rate then Garmin watch for e-bike ride ...
thx for any help

Im no expert but the easiest way i can think of would be to connect a cheap haerthrate monitor to the bike and have it read it all.

Hi Amflow Support,

i have my Amflow since april (about 2500km) bike starts creaking in the rear shock area. So i Checked the bearings and bushings, regreased all parts (not for the first time) and noticed that the rear shock mount (Yoke) threads are stripped. I allways used a torque wrench (20nm). I think the internal threads of the yoke are not are not thick enough to hold the load over time. I need the Yoke as a sparepart to be able to ride the bike again.

thx for helping

You dont need watch and garmin connect "I believe".

The bike is doing the work and providing one ride, and watch is providing another through garmin connect.

Chose which one you want. I use my garmin watch and phone as back up, then delete one activity when finished. Nothing worse then having a battery empty midride and lose data.

Hey everyone! My new Amflow PL Carbon 800W (size L) is arriving soon from China. Local forums keep mentioning that it's crucial to perform initial suspension service on both shocks right away. Apparently, Fox 2026 model dampers may contain metal debris from manufacturing. Anyone else dealt with this?
no man, just ride that thing. DreamFLow

I think the internal threads of the yoke are not are not thick enough to hold the load over time.
If there is a yoke design issue, with so many Amflows sold, it will be interesting to see if more yoke threads fail. In the mean time. Check the calibration of your Torque Wrench. Make sure it is delivering 20Nm.

And can I ask. Did you tighten the yoke bolt with the yoke and shock installed on the bike ? The scratches I have pointed to, seem to indicate you did. Access to that bolt is extremely difficult, and that bolt is best Torqued with the Yoke and shock removed. Just a heads up for future adjustment, and others reading, when torqueing the yoke bolt.

If you watch Rob's build video. You can clearly see he fits the yoke and shock, pre-bolted together. There is perfect access to all the suspension linkage bolts if you do it this way. And it dramatically reduces the chances of damaging a thread.

@Amflow Support: Today, I had to make use of Walk Assist for a prolonged period (about 10 minutes). I think the facility is great and it certainly made my life easier. However, having to hold the rocker switch down constantly whilst pushing up a steep, undulating surface covered in long grass became uncomfortable pretty quickly.

Is there a method of toggling Walk Assist on until switched off?

Thanks,
Andy.
Hi, Andy
Thank you for sharing your experience with us.

We completely understand your feelings. Please understand that the design of requiring the rocker switch to be held down continuously is mainly for safety reasons. However, we will certainly pass your feedback to our internal team for future product optimization. If any improvements are made, they will be announced on our official website, so please stay tuned.

Thank you again for your valuable input. Have a safe and pleasant ride~

Hi,
Thank you very much for sharing this information.

Based on your description and our confirmation, we have determined that the issue pertains to a third-party component. Unfortunately, we are not authorized to sell the Yoke spare parts. We suggest that you contact the relevant third-party staff for assistance in obtaining the Yoke replacement.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Have a good day and safe ride.
What kind of response is this? The shock mount or yoke is part of the Amflow frame.
Who makes the Yoke if not Amflow?

Hello there.. We all know that both models can take 27.5 rear and im sure lots of amflow riders prefer riding mullet setup. im jus wondering if amflow will release a 27.5 rear wheel to sell?

Not much chance and even if they did, don't expect to be able to buy different freehubs for them.
They only provide XD for carbon and HG for the alu rear wheels.
You're better off buying a wheel from another brand.

Thank you for reaching out.
We understand your concern. At the moment, the Avinox Ride app only supports connecting to Strava as a third-party platform, and does not support direct upload to Garmin Connect. As for Garmin, our official tests show that ANT+ heart rate straps are compatible and can be used with our system.

We understand that direct integration with Garmin Connect would be helpful, and we will share your feedback with our team for future consideration.

Thank you for your inquiry.

We completely understand your interest in a 27.5 rear wheel option. At the moment, we regret to inform you that we do not have a specific sales plan for this part. If you are interested in a mullet setup, we recommend reaching out to your local bike shop for possible solutions. Thank you for your understanding

Hi Astro66, thanks for your reply.
I dont think that even if the torque wrench would be of by say 10% that this would be a problem in this case. You are totally right that access to the rear bolt screw is a bit difficult and that a tool can scratch the linkage if the shock is not fully deflated. This is why Rob maybe mounted the yoke and shock first. Its a coil shock and cant be easily compressed like an airshock.

@Amflow Support:
Amflow PL carbon pro - my thermometer permanently shows 5-8 degrees less than reality. Would it please be possible to add the option to calibrate the thermometer in the next update, similar to the altitude?
Many thanks!

@Amflow_Support is planned to add sync to others third-party apps like TrailForks, TP, intervals.icu, Garmin Connect, Suunto, or others than strava ?

And is planned to connect head units like Garmin, Hammerhead Karoo, Wahoo or others to read rider power data, battery %, and others?

Considering battery health, if you often need to leave your bike charging overnight, you can use the charging limit feature. To set this up, tap "Battery" on the app’s home page and adjust the charging limit according to your needs.
@Amflow_Support it'll be great to add date/time when you want to reach that charging limit. I would be able to finish riding my bike, plug it in, and activate 80% or 100% of the battery limit to reach just at riding time for the next day.

Amflow,
I'm back to getting some battery faults. Amflow support has been great in communicating with me, receiving logs from me, and offering to replace the battery. The latest communication has asked me to speak to the merchant I bought the bike from to proceed with this.
However, the merchant I bought off is 400 miles away in England (I am in Northern Ireland - still the UK). At the time I received my bike, no dealer in Northern Ireland was available, although I believe they were in the process of being set up but could not give me a confirmation or a date of bike.
As stated on the Amflow website, any amflow dealer should be able to handle warranty issues (providing it is in the same service area that it was bought). I contacted 1 of the 2 dealers in Northern Ireland that are available now, and they have bluntly refused to carry out any warranty work because I did not buy the bike from them. I believe this goes against the contract that they signed as an amflow dealer?
Luckily the merchant I bought from in England is having a look into this and seeing if he can help make things easier

I do not have a coil shock, and I cannot get my torque wrench onto that bolt when installed on the bike, because of the mounting below it doesn't allow the head of the torque wrench to fit. This is why most people Torque that bolt before installation.

So in your case, my concern would be the type of torque wrench you are using to fit ? And that if the head of your Torque Wrench is contacting that bottom mounting. Your Torque reading will not be accurate.

Anyway. Just advice from someone who also checks and greases his suspension bearings regularly. And I haven't had any issues with the amount of torque causing a problem. (y)

Hi, thank you very much for sharing.

May we know whether you are referring to the ambient temperature or the motor temperature? If you are unsure, feel free to contact [email protected] for further assistance.

Hi, thanks for sharing.
Based on your situation, we need to declare that since you are requesting service from a different store within the UK, the Northern Ireland dealer should provide you with a free replacement battery. However, since it is not the original store of purchase, they may charge you a labor fee.

If the Northern Ireland dealer refuses to provide a repair solution, please contact [email protected] again with the relevant information, and we will escalate the issue to the regional manager for further action.

Can anybody tell me the spec of the 2 hex bolts that fix the Avinox screen into the top tube (M4 x 10mm for example)

I'm looking to buy some form of security bolts so the sim card won't be easily removed should the worst happen.
Hi
Sorry for misunderstanding your previous message. After internal confirmation, the specifications for the center control screen fixing screws are as follows: M3*8mm. If you have any questions, you can also contact [email protected].

I am keen on buying an Amflow, but really want to travel overseas with it, so wanting to know about the possibility of buying a separate battery. Amflow support have said "not currently available" but wondering if anyone else has heard anything more positive?

Most likely I would be flying again next year, from Australia to Wales. I have done this several times with current and past ebikes and purchased separate batteries at the destination (my mother lives in Wales), and sold again afterwards. Renting would be even better if that was available.

This is currently a deal breaker for me, as I love to ride Cwmcarn, BPW, etc and bike hire is a nightmare from past experience. Amflow support is trying to direct me to how I can travel with an ebike on a plane, but I think we all know this is a no-go without the battery removed. And posting ahead of the trip means months without a bike.
Hi, thank you very much for sharing.

Based on your situation regarding the purchase of an extra battery, we have taken note of your request and will try to communicate it to the relevant team to explore possible solutions.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you and thanks for supporting Amflow.

Thanks for your reply. I mean ambient temperature, of course. For example - bike stays at my home, for long time, ambient temperature is about 23 degrees (celsius). Same for a long time. And bike shows 18 degrees only, again, same for a long time. Difference is 5 degrees.. Outside on the trail is the difference usually more, around 8 degrees. Possibility to make a calibration would be highly appreciated...

I have the same problem, the temperature shows lower than it really is.
