Saw this over on the WC pit coverage on Vital.

Looks like a Bosch powered bike to me.

Downtube looks large but still looks fantastic. Maybe time to upgrade the Decoy Pro race I have.

I was wondering why all the decoy sn are half price. Maybe ditching the fazua for bosch sx?

Who knows? The SN clear out may have been because they are getting rid of Fazua or it could have been so they can release new MY26 builds. If they are dropping Fazua the Decoy SN 29 must be one of the shortest living bike models of all time :D

Well what i see here is bosch cx, fat downtube but also nice proportions (fat rear triangle and fat top tube), new frame, new kinematics and hopefully 180/180 travel. Oh, and that water bottle miniature.
If that is the case plus 29/29 take my money

Looks good, if the geo is up to date and it has the Bosch motor then it may be the next bike. (y)

Bosch cx5,800w battery and 170 travel.
Nice proportions ? More like lazy engineering/design effort.
The fact it's fat at all places hardly looks well proportioned to me .
Small water "cup" also an issue.
Yt makes beautifull bike usually, but this looks wrong imho.
Hopefully the value will stay high compared to the competition.

YT and releasing an ebike with electronics a generation too late, name a better combo!

I'm joking and loved my YT bikes, but it's weird that a company that was so far ahead of the curve with the original Capra seems to be late to the party over and over again with their Decoys.

I have ridden a Decoy 29 for 4 years. The original chassis was really amazing, reliable so I can understand the strategy to update it instead of starting from a blank canvas again. Bosch sounds like a solid choice. The newer 720Wh battery was weighting the front a little bit too much compared to the original 540Wh imho so I hope the balance is better with the Bosch 800Wh.
My main complaints were the cable ports which seems to have been improved on the image above and the proprietary mini bottle which is still here unfortunately. I can fit a 950ml bottle on my KSL.

They fixed the cable ports with the Decoy SN so hopefully that transfers over. Its one of the cleanest solutions I've seen on any bike. Edit: Looking closer at the photo it has the same cable ports as the SN. That is a big improvement.

Was pretty disappointed to see the mini bottle still on there. On the wife's bike she just wears a hydration pack and I put a Crankbrothers Tube Stash in the place of the bottle.

You consider the 5th gen Bosch out of date?

The front fork, through photoshop scaled measurement, most probably is 180mm, so i hope the rear travel is also 180mm.
I think it will either be 160/170 or 170/180. I doubt it will have 180mm of tear travel.

170/170 is the decoy sn. Certainly not less than that. I hope they will keep the commencal lineup style, where they have power sx 400 with 170/170 and power sx800 with 180/180. Maybe they'll also add a dji version, like commencal, down the way.
The decoy sn is a 160/170 bike according to the yt website.

The trend is mx, so follow the trend.

What i want is 180/180 travel, hope they'll deliver it, so that crestline and commencal will have some competition.
If you are short follow the trend or a sheep. I follow what I prefer and that is a full 29 set up.

What i mean, is that the average consumer trend is mx, so companies most probably follow the trend the consumer want/need.
You can follow whatever you want, sheep or no sheep.
Oh I understand but the brands not offering choice will lose customers. Plus companies don’t always get trend right, plus size 27.5 is a good example. Anyway looking at the history of YT they will come good an offer both wheel setups 😃

YT site showing zero stock of any of the current Decoy MX models. I wonder if the new bikes is being released along side the Bosch update next week?

Yeah I think it's a bit strange that they have left themselves a dry period with no emtbs available between phasing out the old bikes and releasing the new one. I'm sure they are quite busy trying to fulfill all the orders from the recent sale though and also staff being off for summer so that is probably contributing.

Hopefully whatever comes will have decent specs at a good price.

Knowing YT this is the one thing I'm not worried about. They know how to nail spec and price. I wanted a Decoy SN but thought they were a little expensive for me so I just waited. Less than a year later I picked one up for $3500 on sale. Patience is a virtue. lol

I am surprised that nothing has been teased about this bike from them. The pic above is obviously a finished product. It can't be far from the launch.

I think they’re waiting to see how the bankruptcy goes before they release anything new. It’s probably the reason they don’t have any e-bikes left on the site right now too.

So, i guess the bosch decoy will be late will all that restructuring. They bought time so they'll bring the dji version quicker :D Good luck to them, hope everything rolls fine.

Not looking like it, my brother-in-law bought one of the flash sale Capras. They’re not delivering the bike or giving him a refund, he got this email about 10 mins ago.
