Love my Hope V4's, they're on their 3rd bike now and issue-free

used an adapter as pictured.I have been thinking of doing this with my Trance as well. Did you use spacers or an adapter for the calipers?
How much difference did you find between the 2 and 4 pot calipers? I'm thinking of doing the same, but it looks like there is only a 10% change in stopping power which doesn't sound like a massive amount? My bike came with XT BR-M8000 2 pot front and rear with 203mm rotors. I've just upgraded the front to the new BR-M8120 4 pot XT caliper and i am very happy with the power, feel and ease of bleeding. The new 4 pot Shimano brakes are a lot easier to bleed than the old 4 pot 520/820 saint/8020/etc
definitely Hope,I use E4’s which have been flawless for ever.Fitted Hope V4's, they work very well as always, my default brake on all bikes, never had any issues after changing over to several bikes. Much better all-round than the RE's
No difference in the caliper on a e-stop , I found the lever to be awful .Have Magura M7s on my regular bike, and like the performance and feel a lot.
Has anyone tried the E Stop Maguras? any good?
Or other recommendation for very powerful brakes for E bike.
I have a Turbo Levo, brakes work ok, but on very fast descends needs more stopping power, and the feel is horrible
Have always been a Shimano XT fan. But my new Amflow came with the MT7s. I'm a convert. I get much better feel when modulating them.Another one here with mt7s
Same here.I have found suitable pads on AliExpress,
if you can get the 220 rotors, best upgrade ive made to my Canyon. Im happy the Amflow does not have CL rotors. Opens the door for cheaper rotors. Ill look at Ali for pads for mt7SRAM Gold Centreline 203 Rotors
I can't get those rotors in 220. I'm very happy with the braking, regardless.if you can get the 220 rotors
I shopped them today and ebay, they have them and a new group of 2.3mm rotors for ebikes.I can't get those rotors in 220. I'm very happy with the braking, regardless.
220 front 220 rear SwissStop rotors with 4 pot Shimano M6120 and MT420 callipers for our bikes. If/when the MT420's have issues will replace with M6120's.220 front 200 rear. 4 pot xt for me.
Been running sram HS2 for price and longevity with shimano 4 piston calipers and levers with bucklos pads at 3.80 a pair.
Typical for Ali and Temu rotors.true them out of the box
