Haven’t riden mine yet. Freshly wrapped. I have to try the 180 mm dropper.

I also was on the Pole then a Wild now this beast. It’s the perfect bike for me 🤩

Is that an ochain? Does it make a difference in an ebike? What size bike and axs dropper are you on?
It is an O-chain, couldn’t find a spider as I run a 32T chainring, I’ve been liking it. Zero pedal kick and don’t notice that it’s there.
Bike is RH-2, running an old 150 dropper. Sram calc says my short butt can only fit a 150 even with the new style.

Pmed you

You guys that are running the S180, are you leaving the Works headset in that adds about 10mm of stack? Curious because on the 160 I can see it but if you run a 180 fork, doesn't that make the front end kind of high? Seems like you would wanna not use it with a longer fork to keep the geo in tact. They list the LS160 at 64* HTA and the S180 at 63.5*. 20mm of added fork length should be about a full degree of HTA change. Or does the LT/ST flip chip make a diff in geo?

Have you run the Super Deluxe Ultimate on it? That's what's on mine but was thinking of going Vivid Air for the times I put it in LT mode.
No, have both styles of Vivid.

Mine's all built up - still need to bleed the rear brake.

Also made a quick edit with exposure on the photo, so details would show up since my garage had bad lighting.

Mine is running sweet with the works headset. I think it has slackened the bike by .3° maybe.
Note that i went +5mm which also has a slight dropping effect to cancel out some of the increased stack.

Nice build.

Of course I need to see more angles of these bikes!

Boxxer Ultimate absolutely rocks on this bike. I'm not so sure about the dual rate coil (got one on my DH bike). I've always been a huge fan of the Smashpot but I think the dual rate conversion adds confusion, plus the Boxxer 38 has such a great linear airspring (unlike Zeb or old Boxxer) I'm not sure it's crying out for one. Maybe I just haven't settled on the right spring rate yet. I'd try before fitting Vorsprung though there is no way it needs more suppleness on the crestline.

The boxxer I got was a used Base version which I got for dirt cheap. I managed to also pick up a new 3.0 damper for fraction of the price granted I get a smashpot, so I went that route instead. Overall this was still significantly cheaper than upgrading the base to ultimate at full price. My riding doesn't involve black jump lines (blues + black tech) so I think this setup should be fine. I also now have the option switch the smashpot over to the mezzer, but none the less lots of experimenting to do.

Cool, so you've got butter cups in damper side and coil in the other. Going to be super supple. Report back with findings!

Can you clarify all the differences you noticed?
Are you on Gen5?
I usually just ride in the 12deg setting on my bike (yes a Gen 5 Crestline) I switched it to 0 deg for a race thing I did which was quite flat and I wanted to pump as best I could etc. There was one section that was very high speed and rough, the difference in bike feel was significant. It felt like the shock was locked out lol. Bike was harsh under feet. I would probably pull some Hsc if I run it like that all the time. With ochain at 12deg I'm confident it would've been a magic carpet in comparison.
It actually backs up another section I've race on with and without ochain albeit gen 4 vs 5 and a different shock. Felt the same way 😎

Putting the Crestline through its passes... so much fun.

How tall are you? Just getting ready to pick up my near S180 and want to switch out stock dropper for a 170mm AXS Wireless dropper and hope it fits. I am 6'1"

i'm 5'11.5 so you will definitely be good with the 170mm. (or new 175mm). depending on your inseam, might be able to squeeze the new 200mm?

Thanks for the input! I actually picked up my new S180 today and just finished installing a 170mm AXS Dropper Post and it fits perfect with a mm or 2 to spare!

Will be posting pics and information when the custom I9 Hydra2 Enduro Wheels are installed next week.

2nd place in an enduro race on the weekend. Woohoo.

Also the strava data is in and every strava segment I set on the voima I'm smashing on the Crestline....... I'm faster on this bike.....
Same here! Much faster than my Voima, starting to get faster than my Wild(rode it for 18 months). Loving the bike 🤙
Congrats on 2nd 🥈

Yeah, Its quite striking the difference when it gets twisty or pumpy or jumpy. The Crestline just shines through. Want to straight line plough? The voima is a beast. Everything else,,,, not so much. Last year I did the same enduro race on the Voima the 1st place guy (half my age) beat me by 45 seconds. This year i pulled that back to 16 seconds. This is over 13 minutes of racing.
