This brand is more known for their Marathon Buff sponsored crew, but hey've released at the same period of time an affordable version of the DJI Avinox motor, one shall check them in too!
I was about o buy their TQ version but wasn't totally convinced about this motor, plus I have ton loads of parts at home so that I felt to give a try to SZZS production frame, but it's a cool brand (because I live 1/2 from them, same distance as the UNNO's headquarter!).

They do some cheap ones too for anyone who either wants cheaper or to upgrade/frameset alternative :

I saw these the other day. I think the CRB 03 looks ok...
But again, another brand not readily available in the UK.

that will be my goto solution once I've test-tried it, but ain't too sure I'd love the extra XXL power!! But their seatpost insertion is pretty bad I'm afraid, and with my 94cm inseam, I need for the very minimal a 210mm OneUp which is the more compact seat post I've experienced.

Yes, they don't seem to come with very long droppers - I wondered if that was down to insertion depth or not.

Looks pretty good! Have you spoken with them, can they deliver bikes this spring?

Non as yet, I’m on vacations and still waiting for my next frame from SZZS to come any time soon, so ain’t a priority.
I can check this for you when back at the workshop, what size / model are you into?

Thanks, the CRB 03 looks pretty solid. I've had 2 Orbea Rises lately, so if Megamo quality is comparable I'd be well satisfied.
Btw, I also have a Trek Fuel Exe with the TQ motor. It's been fun to try, but I wouldn't buy this motor again. Too low-powered and also a bit slow to react.

Anyone know of any UK distributors?
I don't think there are any.

I keep thinking about getting one. I was talking to one of the bike shop owners in the bar last week and asked him if he could get one as he's near. The next nearest is about 50 minutes away, which isn't too bad I guess.

If you want to order one delivered here and pick it up, you're welcome.

Appreciate the offers for help getting a bike, but I'm not too keen on importing it myself.
I'll just keep waiting until something else comes along and is available to buy in the UK.
I'd buy an Amflow, but I don't like the silver frame, it needs upgrades to the stem etc., it doesn't come with the latest versions of suspension and it's their first bike.
They don't even have HG freehubs available for their wheels, so there's another upgrade too.

Forced color&spec pairing needs to end. Or at least like YT/Canyon, just offer black version at every tier and price point.
I get that it's meant to be an up-selling tactic but I dislike it.

The Silver just doesn't look great.

I'd love this as an option in the UK as well but I dont want the hassle of a grey import, I'd also want to use a cycle to work scheme.

Only two options for amflow vs loads of megamo. Lack of choice putting me off an amflow as at a minimum I'd be changing rear tyre and brakes and appears lots of current owners are switching parts around

On the Amflow, at minimum I'd be swapping the chainring, stem, brakes, rear wheel, gears. But that's me.

Range claims are on another level !!

I'd give a lot for an aluminium frame kit (Nicolai ? Atherton ? Vitus ? Anyone else ?) with a dji, slim battery ... EVEN with a 750 W peak power limitation. Oh and possibly, no lazy 'ala levo' rear kinematics / shock. /OPERATION SAVE MY SHOCK

€5000 - Alloy Frame kit - way cheaper than Spesh for a frame.

Comes with everything you need to wheel your frame home with ease..

There is the Trek Fuel EXe Teewing Turbo Force but can't see it actually for sale and another unknown brand

Shame the germans brands seemed to be all going bosch and opposing DJI

i really like that. 18kg & DJI, yum. Even in poverty spec it's not bad but yet another bike I can't buy in the UK & so it's all good until you need factory support.

In current climate, seems like betting on DJI is risk that only small brands were willing to take, for them at low volume it's worth it for the benefit but I get why big german brands wouldn't hop on it.

Neither Megamo or Teewing look exciting. They remind me of those weird brands like Fezzari and Elsworth, where simply hiring better product designer and graphic designer would help. The names and logos alone are off-putting :- ( If they were massively cheaper , but their bottom tier cost same as bottom tier Amflow and that one looks generic, but in nice way.

I don't mean it in snobbish way, I am big fan of Canyon and YT since they were still cheap brands back then, and their first bikes were already nice and cool. But most European brands just live in different reality of their own.

What risk do you have in mind? I remember some stuff around Crestline having to source Bosch motors on the grey market because they couldn't justify the minimum order quantity Bosch impose which maybe DJI don't do? But I'm not seeing much negativity around the Avinox motor itself, the opposite in fact.

Risk of another canyon battery disaster? Just means less choice for us now they’ve agreed amongst themselves to go a different direction. Maybe they didn’t want to cannibalise their SL products or something.
