Defo....could be a great entry level option despite the weight gain now we know the carbon specsHopefully £5500 or lessfor comp alloy
That's a really good point... maybe the 600 watt bty as standard will offset the weight difference with carbonGiven that’s the comp carbon is £6799 I could see £5799 but to save weight and profit it will have the 600 watt battery as standard.
From the original threadComp Alloy may have a slightly subdued frame colour way too but that's totally subjective ?
Comp Alloy ->
- Gloss Deep Lake Metalic / Dune White
- Satin Dusky Pink / Cypress Metalic
- Satin Gunmetal / Obsidian
A Specialized Product Manager (?) alludes to the potential here. Makes sense when the advertise the capability for long travels forks.Hi,
I heard rumors that there will be a long travel Levo 4 option. Anyone heard the same?
Of course aftermarket, cascade will show up with something too
I doubt they'd get any sales that way.It would suck if they reduced the Nm and wattage limits on the cheaper models..
Reckon that'sI'm pretty interested to see how this one turns out. I've been tempted to pick up a discounted alloy gen 3 lately but I think it might best best to wait and see what Specialized have to offer with the alloy gen 4. I held of buying a new bike for 6 months waiting on the gen 4 so what's another 6 weeks at this point?![]()
I'm seeing end of April on the Specialized site for the other carbons being available again, at least in my country.Today only S-Works is available in the shops then the rest of the carbons will be at the end of May so unfortunately I don't think any alloys will be in the shops at the same time.
I've been reliably informed the Alloys will be released tues 27 May in AustraliaI'm seeing end of April on the Specialized site for the other carbons being available again, at least in my country.
I'll be pretty pissed if the push the alloys later into the year.
I imagine €6k-€7k for the alloy comp and €5-€6k for the base model. Interesting to see if they get the 600wh or 840wh battery.Anyone have any idea what pricing might be?
Satin Gunmetal/Obsidian for me & Gloss Deep Lake Metallic for my wife.
The manual also lists the geometry for the alloy models. Confirms that S1 will be alloy only. Also shows that standovers will be noticeably higher than on the corresponding carbon models.
