Actually Pic of Wednesday...another wee confession, I was on my non E-powered hardtail.
Went for a wee bimble on a route along footpaths and trails through woods in Kinross and around Loch Leven that I do when I just want a short ride or, as was the case on Wednesday, dithered too long.

Looking across to the island and castle where Mary Queen of Scots was imprisoned, with Bishop Hill beyond. Nice DH from top down face of hill.

Benarty Hill on far side of loch, I live just across road from it at right hand end in pic. Nice climb up the back then trail along top.

Another view of Benarty from west side of loch, with island with castle prison at it's right hand end.

I rarely use my old hardtail but I was out a few months ago and forgot how light it actually is. Goes like a rocket on the flat anyway.

My wife was invited to a 60th birthday party by someone at her bowls club. I was dragged along in support. The host had generously provided food and entertainment of various sorts. One of the items was many of those shiny wire metal interlocking puzzles that you are supposed to untangle then retangle. Often they foil your efforts for several minutes and then fall apart in your hands without leaving any clue as to what it was that you did, so that reassembling them is just as tricky. I got bored.

I think I will hang it on my garage wall next to the deer skull with old chain rings hanging from its antlers.

Puzzling 🤨.
Years of practice with new chainsaw chains, and now new bike chains, gives me a distraction to minimize my boredom. Somehow I figure it out. 👍🏻

Big weekend out the back of my place, wife went away for a long weekend so got out and about on the bike Friday (25km), Saturday (40km) and Sunday with the boys for another 40km ride around Mt Beerwah in the Glasshouse Mts. All back to my place for bacon and eggs, coffee and a swim afterwards. Perfect weekend I reckon ;)

Very nice indeed. We are lucky to have a lot of beutiful places to ride.
You are telling me. I am hearing rumors of wanting to ban eBikes because according to some politicians it messes up the trails - I must be honest im riding a lot more and getting further out because of the ebike. I hope that never gets anywhere close to being passed.
