Non c'è bisogno di sperare, la data di lancio attuale della bici è l'8 aprile, confermata al 100%!
My Specialized bike dealer told me yesterday that Specy will delay the release of the Levo until September.
Market problems to avoid burning sales for AMflow release + Brose delays, then they still have warehouses full of levo

;-) Last month he told me April now September..I also think that the problem is getting rid of the quantity of boxes of old levo below in the warehouse
It's crazy! Out of boredom I checked some EU country pages at Specialized. In Central Europe (yes, also Italy) you can almost exclusively get Alloy Levos. In some Eastern European countries carbon models are also available in many sizes, but is the market that big there? Sure, some dealers will still be sitting on stock, even in Central Europe, but I always wonder where the statement comes from that the warehouses are apparently so full?
For example, my LBS can't get me a carbon model in S4 at the moment...

If there’s going to be a ‘hard launch’ of the Gen 4 in April, then the warehouses should be full… of Gen 4 models.

Why would Specialized sit on ‘warehouses full of current models’ anyway, they’d be having a fire sale if they weren’t shifting I’d have thought unless they have an orchard of money trees at HQ…

It seems like an excuse that they came up with to avoid communicating the real reason for not launching the bike last October/November. There can still be some bikes in inventory, but I don't believe that they are the amount to delay this so much, there was a fuck up at some point, maybe one day we will know.

the current launch date of the bike is April 8th, 100% confirmed !
True, my local spesh dealer also confirmed this, in some days they are going to have some sort of training at Specialized about the new bike.

My local dealer is expecting a shipment on April 4th so they can have them available on launch day. He said they only have 2 coming for launch day, both S-Works but they’re a smaller shop and more road bike focused. He gave me the impression that he wasn’t expecting them to sell very fast.

Well, selling a 14k bike is always a gamble, but since it's a new bike, I think he will sell it just fine.
One thing that I noticed at my dealer is, normally, the staff has their personal bikes there, and these used to be top-tier s-works as these guys were really fanboys of the brand. Nowadays, most of them don't have them, and the main reason is pricing. When you have the guys selling these bikes complaining about value/price you know something is not right.

They’re a Spesh/Trek dealer but they sell more road/gravel bikes than anything so they cater to those customers. They had no mountain bikes in the shop the last time I was there. They’re the only Spesh dealer within 75 miles of the city though so maybe that will help them sell.

In the luxury car world, Ferrari make you buy 2-3 "cheap" cars before they let you but the hypercars.

In the emtb world, I feel like we are more likely to have Spesh pitch you a deal where you pay $15k for a gen4 S-works, and they give you 2 alloy comp gen3's so your dental nurses can come ride with you and see how much more powerful the gen4 is.

Transition just dropped a new bike and it’s just like the Vala, full power 600wh battery. I really hope this is not the new Levo.

I called a dealer near me that up till recently was an official Specialized Store. They are still confirming the Sea Otter reveal and being able to place orders for it at that time. Not sure when you can have one in hand, they did not confirm that they are allotted any amount.

So these confirmations are not sure if it will be at this event but will the new specialized be available in April?

My dealer has a shipment due to arrive on the 4th of April. Most dealers should be getting them around the same time so they can have them on the floor for the release.

At this time, I am thinking evolutionary vs "shock the industry" changes - nothing to leak
