All the specs have already been leaked in this thread (there is even a picture of it a few pages back). It looks like the SL but has a giant down tube, unfortunately still a Brose motor and will be heavier than the competition. It will be slammed full of gimmicky things and have lots of adjustments for riders who have no idea what they want and social media influencers to talk about. End of the day by the time the lower end models drop it will be 2 year old tech and lagging behind everything else.

I'm still excited to see it but I personally wouldn't be caught dead riding a Specialed.
Specialized will hardly be 2 years behind.

Even if the only change was to move to a 48 volt (up from the current 36volt system) gear drive Brose motor they are ahead of pretty much every other big brand for full power ebikes.

No doubt other full power big name players will follow suit in upcoming models by also moving to 48 volt systems for efficiency gains.

How often do you do that? For me it’s somewhere between ‘once a year’ and ‘once’.

Try Strava or buy/get given a Fenix, they’re much better for recording rides.
Every ride... I ride with multiple groups during the week. each group requires different settings. I use to be able to use presets for those groups... that is no longer available. At least bring that back

Regarding gen3 discounts, this looks quite nice, not bad price for a PRO:

As for the Gen4 - I visited local Spesh service center in my city and they told me:
Gen4 - will be available in April
Will have new Brose motor
Motor doesn't have belt

I don't know what to think about it, but they looked pretty convicing.

Anyway, I was tired of waiting and I boutht Strive:eek:n ;). Will wait till next year for first "beta users" of new Levo to work out potential issues and then we will see.
hi, I have an ohlins ttxm2 210x55 I was about to sell it, does anyone know if it will mount on gen4?

This thread has successfully made me want a vala over the new levo. I didn't even know I wanted a new bike lol
Vala= 600wh battery….. deal breaker. A buddy in my group rides has a Yamaha Moro with a 500wh battery and he ether bails or runs out of juice every ride. The Yamaha motor is much more efficient than the Bosch unit.

600 for my daily weekly rides ...... 600 +250 RE for my weekend long slogs with my 700wh Specialized mates.

Same for me..

I’d have to use the RE pretty much every ride. Not doing that.

Hello from Spain, we are expecting an official launch event for stores on March 24/25 approx.
Thank you for the information. That makes perfect sense, as the season in Europe—an important market—begins in early April. To maximize revenue from their E-MTB line, Specialized should launch the new Levo Gen 4 by the end of March, avoiding further losses.

I think the Side loading can work if done well..... especially if they make a spacer to insert above a smaller 600 or 400 battery where you can store things like tubes and tools. especially if the smaller batteries aren't as long . Side loading will also allow them to create a storage section

I am reading since page 1 and it comes to my mind, that we all should consider to be disappointed by specialized. Maybe, our expectations are too far away from what is possible or the bike vendors doesn't care about market voice.

Definitely a win really like the swat storage on my Epic 8 Evo and if they can make it happen in a eye candy way , well that would be awesome

Trek removes side loading because it was heavy and looked like crap..... Specialized says, wait till you see how bad ours looks!

If it's side loading, we need a modern take on this. Although I assume there must be some downsides to the snake battery.

Just asking if anyone knows if Specialized might be working on a gearbox motor setup , now that would be Fricken awesome , not ground breaking cause there are a few guys doing already but two get a Specialized Brose gearbox integrated system

Brose did show a prototype MGU in 2023 so could see future specialized bikes having it.
