This is a full suspension frame, bafang 560 motor with battery combo from Aliexpress (China). I purchased and installed all of the components to make it a functioning e bike. It is awesome in acceleration and speed. I made “a thousand mistakes” in buying and installing these components; learning the hard way that there is an essential match between components and a lot of skill required to make things operate correctly. Lesson learned here is that a DIY e bike is NOT a saving in money and is certainly a huge investment in time. If I could go back 2 months, I would order a complete e bike.

DIY is all fun and games till its not

yes it can be more expensive, more time consuming and results may not be what you want.
you also need a lot of tools and some basic bike building knowledge.

but its a fun hobby on its own 😀

Wagonrd is this the bike you built? It is for sale in Sacramento and I was going to look at it. But finding your post I thought I would reach out.
