Swalbe Eddy Current 2.6” tires. I rode them today, awesome! They were a bear to install, but well worth it! 😃

Bought two pairs of 50mm Reserve Fillmore valves to be used when switching tyres from Assegais to Magic Mary fronts and DHR2 rears for Winter.

Muc-Off's upcoming "Ludicrous" valves seems to have reduced Reserve Fillmore valve prices a bit.

Edit: 50mm

3 pairs of gloves from ebay for £20

I only wanted the Fox Syndicate Ones so my lad can have the other 2 pairs

I just ordered 2 sets of Fillmore valves and was surprised at the price, $49 a set, for valves! How much are they over your way & how much were they before?

What make/model did you buy mate? Battery life OK?
I did a thread about it. Have a read.

Keep in mind. I'm using the phone exclusively as the EMTB computer. I have a Pixel 8 as my mobile phone.

Some 1mm thick foam for my battery, I’m performing a process of elimination to find the rattle on my bike and as I discovered one of the foam pads was missing, this was another place to investigate

Hello, I bought the 2023 Turbo Levo Comp. Yes, the battery life is fine, never have a problem. But I’ve never owned another EMTB to compare it with. Here was my latest rides started with 100% and finished with 26%. I do all my rides in trail mode.

Tyre fitted brilliant for road use so much less rolling resistance. Can only imagine more miles per battery . Raised fat bars with 40mm lift makes riding a bit more pleasurable on the straights.
De-restricted so wireless speedo fitted to show true MPH . Very happy so far . IMG_9485.jpeg

A spare derailleur hanger for my bike, maybe one of these days I’ll buy myself or my bikeself a hanger straightener, I must have spent more money on hangers than the price of a top drawer hanger straightener, oh well it is what it is 🤷‍♂️

In the 2020’s I bought the derailer hanger straightener because I needed it often. Several other bikes in my area also used aluminum derailer hangers and I would occasionally bend them back to where they belong. Park Tool had one and it was fairly accurate and easy to use.

A few years ago I switched to the Sram AXS shifter and haven’t bent a hanger since. The aluminum hanger is a sacrificial component that bends or breaks so that your derailer is less likely to be bent or broken.

The AXS derailer has a certain amount of “give “ during a crash and quickly returns. This probably saves both the derailer and hanger from some damage. I have also broken two NX derailers.

I bought a derailleur hanger. A rear derailleur and a cassette and chain I dropped my bike hanger was bent and chain skipping.
Its improving now

Swapped out the original OE tires for some Eddy Currents. I didn't think my Levo could be any more fun then it was. I was wrong. Rolls better. Way more planted in turns.

I have an early Whyte (V1) which has a little torx screw that stops the derailleur hanger from rotating in the seat stay, unfortunately it’s that screw that seems to snap first leaving the small threaded section stuck in the seat stay rather than the hanger snapping off first, this or so I’m told has been replaced by a universal derailleur hanger, this is why I’m thinking about buying a derailleur hanger straightener 👍😉

Wandered into one of our LBS’s (IMBY Cycles) last week, unsupervised, and ordered new wheels for the Fuel EXE.
-We Are One Triad Convergance Carbon wheels.
-Project 321 G3 hubs.
-Winged Eliptical spokes (28f/32r).
-Filmore Valves.
-Muc-Off sealant.
-Sram T-Type cassette.
-Two Sram Rotors.
-MT7 brake pads
-Three Presta valve cores (free)👍🏻

Now I’m off to find as many Red Roses as I can. Wish me luck 😥
