SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

Nice. How much?

The 155 mm crank length really seems to help minimize pedal strikes. I run a generous sag in my rear travel and would consider 150s, but with the exception that when I'm in eco-mode with a spent battery...less leverage to crank efficiently to get home. So, the 155s seem to be the happy medium.💪

Plus, save some grams with shorter cranks and even shorter dropper length needed as well. I run a 150 mm dropper now. On my analogs, I ran a 175mm dropper/170 crank arms.

Shorter, less metal = 👇g.
Slightly cheaper dropper too!💸

👊
With shorter crank I would say you need/are able to use longer dropper post for maximum clearance.

I’m 1.85m (6 feet), I’m afraid 155 would be too small! I’m using the bafang right now but I consider changing, I will see what will be the price for the carbon ones we see above!
Regarding the dropper, I’m using a 170mm right now and consider upgrading to 200mm 😂
I'm 6'1". But long torso.

The standard cranks seems very “straight” so must have low offset

I got these cycmotor 165mm ISIS crankset
They fit perfect.

These look to have the same Q factor as the original Bafang cranks that came with the bike. Very "straight"
Unfortunately only comes in 165mm or 175mm
I'm waiting for the carbon cranks @ 160mm (still unsure of 155mm, does it feel weird?)

At first, but the "shortness feel" goes away fast... especially in tech ascents!🤟

For carbon crankheads, here's a plausible pros/cons analysis of full carbon cranks. See link below.

Just my take in general: For Enduro applications, I'd argue the risk/rewards ratio kind of favors high risk/low reward. Especially with my rocky home riding terrain and sloppy technique. I'd lean toward 7075 Al.🌵🚵

While, for more XC style ride, it's low risk/high reward. I can see the appeal of carbon, especially factory direct to help reduce cost for grams savings.💵

But read further to make up your own mind. I just happened on this writeup by Rotor who makes quality alloy and carbon cranks and was curious...

Carbon Cranks Benefits.

Then there's this...maybe changed my mind about more heavy-duty carbon cranks. Watch the stress testing and commentary...
(Sure it's kind of a RaceFace carbon crank bias, but the Fanatik bike guys tend to be gravity-oriented riders.)

Everyone, please tell me. I changed my m820 to 48v, but the discharge performance of the batteries I bought is poor or unstable? As a result, the meter display suddenly becomes 0% and the motor stops. After a few minutes, the display will return and the motor will start operating. How much discharge performance does a cell need?

Intermittent connection on your cabling?

The cable is fine. There was no fever. There is no problem on flat ground or on gentle climbs, but it stops on hard climbs. I bought an additional battery with 21700 cells and a maximum discharge capacity of 90A. I hope you're feeling better

Can you tell us more information about this battery? cell type? configuration? Wh? Ah? custom? bafang original?

Also could be the gauge of the wire is not sufficient to handle the current draw going up the steep hill.

Please contact linda +86 19313711220 , carbon crank size available its 150,155,160,165,170
OK. it's linda lv from
Shenzhen Zhaosheng Carbon Fiber Technology Co
they will have the exact price next week normally. I wait my frame to the end of the month. i will see after the exact length needed. They work also on other crank arms more lighter (in develloping) destinated to XCor road use

The connections mostly, after the first time I made sure there was plenty of slack either side. Then it happened again and I used cable ties to secure those plugs. I went riding today and this time it was the yellow battery connection so I've used a rubber band to keep tension on it. It's a pretty renegade solution but I just did a 30km ride and it seems to be solid. I thought about using some type silicone glue but I think it's a last resort. Hopefully this works.
Well, at least it’s the cable connection side and not internal to the motor. So that’s at least positive.

The FSA CK-220 are 420g on my scale and the Bafang are 450g. The Miranda carbon are 315g for comparison. The big difference is that you can not get the Bafang in 155mm. I got mine on eBay.

Damn...after only 4 months, the stock ICR cap got my display cable too. Discovered it when I was replacing my shredded dropper post cable.😝

Almost frayed the wire coating...⚡

The SZZS replacement headset top cap upgrade can't come soon enough. I requested a warranty replacement.

Fortunately, my brake hose was still in good shape, as I strategically squeezed it in the middle of my three cable bunching.💪

It looks like it will happen the same thing soon on my lce930…
I’ve changed the dropper cable already because it was starting to be quite bad

Does something like this make sense to keep it all together. I noticed it’s in my canyon.
