2024 Strive:ON

Sorry I should have stated - Large frame. But there’s a load of space in there! Might just not quite be slammed on a medium.

Brakes - Hope Tech4 V4 are just next level and everything else feels weak now I’m used to them.

Bars - No performance gains in carbon bars IMO, especially 35mm where they can be way too harsh and stiff, happy with these alu Title MTB 31.8 50mm rise

I actually think the OneUp and the OEM droppers are extremely similar.
I guess it's probably just a few grams of weight? And the bling factor.

Why the Title bars over say, the Burgtec ones?

What's the feel like on the Hopes? I guess modulation is probably more important than outright power as even the weakest brakes should be able to lock the wheels up. They certainly look ace.

Looks good. Hope brakes? How come you changed from the XT?

How do you find the dropper? The Canyon one on my Spectral had some play so the saddle could twist slightly side to side.

Weren't tempted by a carbon bar or new stem? (I know the silly spacers make it more difficult.)
My old Heckler came with carbon bar when I was doing top to bottom bike park run in the French Alps I was getting cramps in the arm. Moving to 35mm Fat bar alloy canceled this cramp in front arm.

Bike is slacker than most on my measurement device. 62.8 degrees - similar to my 29er Kenevo which rips!

In fact one of the slackest bikes I’ve measured on my angle measurement device in my studio.

Pulled the pin, just ordered a Strive Cfr Ltd size medium, delivery dates quoted are June 5th to 16th to the UK,so maybe a bit quicker than stated on the website.

Yeah, seems like a genuine enthusiast,I like his videos.
I reckon Rob should go out there to do a Pommy vs Aussie emtb challenge, would make a great few videos,I'm sure Rob would like a week in Spain

I bought this. I only used a few bits (did downtube and top tube and a couple of other bits)

I then stuck that Nukeproof protector over the top of the clear plastic downtube protector.

I like the Invisiframe protection... I just don't like fitting it...

I had to make groove with the grinder at the bottom of the burgtec stem so that it link to the pin of the canyon headset that turn with brake line.

Does anyone make aftermarket stems that link up to the Canyon spacers, or do Canyon just expect you to stick exclusively to their cockpit?!

It’s very easy to make a groove at the bottom of any stem. Take 10 minutes max. You use the canyon part as template to mark where to grind

I love the canyon setup. Look how clean the bar look! You don’t need extra line length because everything turn together. Bye bye AXS 😄
