Same metal cap. Im designing a garmin mount for it although Id really like to remove the DP e181 from the handlebar and only have the dp e171 button but cant find it anywhere :(
This sounds like a very good idea. Let us know if you find a DPe171

48v 720wh,18.x kg
M820 only 36v and 43v, And I choose 36v 720Wh. I think if I use Carbon cranks, Carbon wheelset, lighter dropper seatpost and lighter pedal can be around 19kg of weight. Below 19kg is impossible with 720Wh battery, it's weight 3.95kg for battery.

Finish my build and have short test ride. Feel comfort with the frame, size S as I just 160cm height. Motor feel not as smooth as my M510 FC 2.0 but just a little, maybe need firmware update (will find it).

Total weight 20.35kg with 720Wh battery, Fox 36 Kashima, DPX2 210x50, Mullet E13 LG1 Alloy wheelset with Spank hub, Sram X01 11 speed groupset, Magura MT5 Brakeset, Renthal 35 Carbon Handlebar n Stem, Syncross dropper seatpost and cheap pedal and saddle.

After first 15km ride motor feel not as smooth as M510 FC 2.0, then last night I calibrated with Besst tool.
This morning I ride about 35km with 700m elevation gain motor feel smooth as M510 Fc 2.0. And the power almost equal with M510 FC 2.0. The peak power is 550W enough for hard climbing, love it so much
I start ride with 89% battery left and I get home 76% battery left after riding about 35km 700m elevation gain. Total ride with yesterday is 50km 900m elevation gain battery 76% left. Excellent !!!

What are the calibrations you did with BESST?
Looks like it's worth buying the tool

Guys, when I read all your reviews, I’m thinking a smaller / less powerful motor would be even better! Looks like turbo is too powerful.
Maybe in two years :)

48v available in China

Later I'll show U. Now still reworking the headset on workshop. My brake housing cable hurt because of bad headset, oil leaked :ROFLMAO:
It's unpleasant. A file and a hammer are the main tools for assembling a Chinese bicycle.

It's OK, my workshopman enjoy to modify it :ROFLMAO:
With this price for proper lightweight EMTB it's worth to get little unpleasent, but I like is Linda accept my suggestion and offer new headset to send. Let's see if Guineyia or something headset work. Linda also offer new frame with non internal headset cable routing, but she still make sure availabilty of normal headset.

The peak power is 550W enough for hard climbing,
We did a fair few 1000 miles between us on the TSDZ2 engine and we set it to max 600W's, which is more than enough for long distance trail riding with about 700m or so climb giving really good battery life of about 2.5 hours on the 360Wh batteries we had. I wonder if 550W - 600W is more than enough for most riders and is it probably the sweetspot of balance between weight, power and time ?

As an aside the EZesty battery of 360Wh's is not big enough if you are in company of full fat bikes and you are having to use max boost more than 50% of the time, requiring a change of battery on route.

Miranda crank is really nice. Not as light as advertised but still very light.

Perhaps he's implying you can stick any voltage battery on any motor? (BESST or firmware change?)
I wish this whole conversation wasn't so cryptic. I understand it could be a language issue.
You can't.
