They are about 2mm taller - I need to check clearance...

Good job - looks like there is sufficient material for that. Are the holes blind or did you dump a pile of swarf into the motor?

One bolt sheared again on my replacement motor. I really have a hard time finding 12.9 grade steel bolt that would fit.

Did you try these and do they have enough clearance?
