Cool. What is the upper headset bearing measurement 52 or 56 mm?
I know spec says 52 mm but just wanted to double check.👍

Not very informative on what kind of trail/road is used forthe ride. What kind of support level on PAS 1 on mountain trails, battery consumption etc etc. Does it have a natural ramp up, how about support levels for Pas1 onwards?? What kind of power is it producing in terms of Watts per PAS levels???

I can write briefly. This is the best engine I've ever driven. I only went to bafang M400, M600, M510.
 
The motor is very productive. There is enough power both when driving downhill and when driving in a straight line. I really like the M820. Now I have a 160mm offset 42mm fork installed, a 150mm rear shock absorber. I don't like how the steering wheel is controlled. I'm waiting for a new 170mm plug with a 51mm offset to check.
Hi lanton. you don't speak about the quality of uphill of the motor ? What is your opinion on, for exemple for go up 1000 M on 15 km ? the consumation ? in comparaison of M510 ? thank for your return.

I only have short-term ascents of 1000m. I can only judge by the long 450m ascent with a length of 20km. I didn't notice any difference between the M510, which worked for me at 70%. Maybe the M820 is a little more powerful than the M510-70%. I did this on purpose with the help of besst, so that there was no desire to add power and also to save batteries. I think many people will have enough of this power for interesting walks. I made a 14Ah 36V battery, but I haven't had time to test it for maximum mileage with 450m altitude differences yet.

how about walk mode? is it more power than M510?

The walking mode on all motors is the same. The M510 and M600 have a throttle handle, it allows you to run next to the bike :-). The M600 is much more powerful than the M820. The last time I drove the M600 was a year ago.
 
I think M820 purpose is not big power but have enough power to help us pedalling as natural as possible like another lightweight motor like TQ HPR50, Fazua Ride60 or Shimano EP8 RS. What @LAnton said that it feels more power than 70% M510 power is a bonus for me.
 
What I would love to see/hear is a video, that is showcasing the sound of the M820, possibly at different cadances and power outputs. And maybe a comparison between M820 and some other motor from different manufacturer. :)

can someone post a picture of the top tube on/off button? Curious what they ended up spec'ing there as there was some debate well before any of the frames shipped.

Whats the differnece between this frame and the LCE930?
 
Several battery options: 340/410/720Wh
Travel spec 210x50. Fork is 170.
Also, to me Seatpost length and insert length was an important factor.
On a size S frame insert length for LCE930 is 170mm. CEF50 has 234mm!!! (assuming Linda's specification is correct)
If you want to slam the seatpost, this is the diffence between a 75mm dropper post or 150mm dropper post on a size S.
 
So in frame battery is empty now? How much capacity your home made battery? and now how much weight fullbike with your home made battery?
I did not install the battery in the frame. There's a lot of space there and I think you can put a lot of interesting things there. I carry the battery in a triangular handbag. This bag includes a 14ah 36V battery. The weight of the bike without a battery is 16.3 kg. My battery weighs: 14ah - 2.2 kg, 10ah - 1.5 kg.

Logic: it would give better weight distribution and balance of your ride quality as the battery would be lower and

Whats the differnece between this frame and the LCE930?
TBH LCE930 looks more proportional and therefore streamlined. The CEF50's beefier downtube holds the 720 Wh battery for me and is (+) range-wise, but (-) cosmetic-wise.

LCE930 has universal derailleur hanger, CEF50 doesn't. Pro for me using "old" AXS GX wireless. Also, I'll eventually plan on upgrading to a super lightweight 7 spd internally geared hub (IGH) that uses a small chain tensioner off the hanger. Currently under development is the wireless shifting IGH called the Kindernay e-VII for $1200 USD🤞😉

Also, CEF50 (ZSSZ)sells the entire frameset+motor+battery boxed to your door. They're doing the motor-battery kit near wholesale prices for now, and on their first launch, as I presume they're working out the minor kinks and logistical delays.

$1780 USD total (incl. shipping to US) was quite the price, especially for bigger 720 Wh battery if you want it.💸
 
No UDH? If this is true, it's very disappointing. I've dismissed bikes previously for this reason alone.
There's no excuse for not running UDH. This is a potential deal breaker.
Yes, standard. Linda confirmed about 6 weeks ago with a pic. Actually just before the big new Axis launch...

I am so glad it does not have UDH, that is why I choose it.
I think ultimately the path forward is no rear mech. Either the lightweight 7spd E-IGH or the 7/8 spd gearbox motor are both in prototype. My money is in the former as stated earlier. 🤛

I will not use the battery in the frame. Which is easier to charge the battery or the bike?. Also do not forget that the CEF50 is lighter by 500g LCE930. CEF50 BB Height is higher.
