Thaeber, could be they dont even support now rev i with boot code 0x90 :(

What I recon - to sell your motor and buy FC2.0.

Anyway, is strange that I see in 43V bin file boot code 0x72 - bafang is messing it quite good. ;) Maybe they have plans not to allow mix voltage. If you buy 43V motor, you would be able to flash only 43V firmwares. :(

How I read it. ;)

Acceleration - self explanatory. It is about starting currents. How steep is ramp up curve.

Support level - sensitivity to pedalling. Or torque multiplication, how they call it in Bosch. More percent - you need less to push to pedals.

Max power - current limitation. So if you have 19A motor firmware and set to 50% - max DC current will be 9.5A (+- overshooting). I noticed BAfang has it quite high (50, 75, 100, 100, 100%) on FC2.0 - can work with correct support level settings though. For better ECO mode, I would set PAS 1 to 20%.

Hi, I am very new to this forum. I have the following m510.
1683114212389.png

I doubt to crash my engine when using a wrong FW. I do not have any big trouble except that think that the torque sensor does not really a good job. The torque calibration in the BEEST tool does not work. Can someone advise me because it is very difficult for me to extract the correct information from this thread:
- which FW I can use to improve best
- is it better to get a new torque sensor FC2
- or even by a new m510

Thanks in advance
Jens

Mate, now I dont know, if you joking or what. Looks like you have not installed motor very first time according the dirt. You have notice this just now???

There is a one way clutch between cranks and chain wheel. Not to move with pedals, when motor is running. Simple as that.

Thanks for Your kind support @Dado! I have a customer who wants to buy my M510FC1, but he needs 36V firmware. This is what all the trouble is coming from. Chili gives me great support, but Bafang is not really supportive. No solution yet.

Also dont have any 36V firmware for bootcode 0x90. :(

I guess, bafang not selling this controller any more.

Another solution for you: To buy 36V controller fc1.0 bootcode 0x91.

Not sure if takes also FC2.0 controller. That would be better option. Try ask Chili if she is selling also controllers.

Anybody knows if m510 fc1 and fc2 controller are interchangeable? Want to upgrade an existing m510 fc1 .

And I can agree . The m510 fc2 is absolutely amazing! Nice to adjust with the favorable settings on each pas level and in my opinion it feels more powerful than the fc1 .

It's you feeling after comparaison (FC2 better than FC1) ? I haven't ride the Fc2 for the moment (may be next week), but after 3 days riding in mountain (+- 4000 m positive), i found the FC1 amazing (with an correct torque sensor ) . the better motor as i never tested. Lot power, less consumtion.

The only defect it's the walk mode, unusable with the switch. And consquency of the motor fun functioning (quick power increase), it's difficult to have efficient walk mode with the throttle (slips whell). i dream of throttle range adjustable to have perfect motor for my appréciation.

Yes it feels even more powerful than fc1 and you can adjust more settings in besst pro than for fc1. Additional the Bluetooth connection is working for the bafang go App including connection to the controller

Ok, personally i don't need more power (never used level 5). I don't using bluetooth but that is just a function of the HMI (true the DPC245 is better than 241).
I'm interested if somebody have solution to make link with garmin edge and displaying data of motor on GPS ?

The feel of pedaling between FC 1.0 and FC 2.0 is noticeable different, it is really more sensitive with our leg pressure. Maybe u will feel it when u try.
