I have them! I only wish I had them on before getting the bike RideWrapped!Need the downtube stickers now to match, will look awesome.
They look well cool, I can relate to this first hand because That’s what I say to my misses when I look at Hope components which is followed by a rapid depletion of my bank balance which is then followed by a scutching to the back of my head from my missesIt's not my fault, it's their fault for making them in retro purple...View attachment 110598View attachment 110599View attachment 110600
Thats one of the things these bikes are really hard on. I spun the ratchet ring on an i9 this winter on the old norco bigfoot vlt and now the stock hub on the new bigfoot needs replacing.Well, after 2200 miles it's a new free hub body for my Whyte E-160 s. View attachment 110774

I wonder if hope are going to make the pro5 ebike rear hub in a fat version...
D
How is it? New wheels with the Pro 5They have, I have the pro 5 ebike specific hub![]()
Fat bike hubs are wider than standard hubs (177/197mm), has nothing to do with tires. The pro5 is only made in 135, 148 boost and 157 super boost widths, their fat hubs are still based on the pro4.I can’t remember which video I watched but it was stated that the Hope pro 5 ebike hub is for wheels up to 4” wide, I can’t remember which one it was because I’ve seen so many videos on the hubs
is it a direct replacement or a upgrade?View attachment 110826an EP8 for my Mondraker Crusher
an upgradeis it a direct replacement or a upgrade?
What else did you need to do, or was it plug and play?an upgrade
I hope you like them.
They look sweet Mike, I nearly bought the F22’s but decided on the slightly narrower F20’s due to my accident prone attitude to mountain biking, my Vaults are testament to that
I purchased a Trek Rail 5 three weeks ago, I've added:
Rockshox Domain 38mm Forks
Hope Fortus wheelset with new ebike specific Pro 5 Hubs
Maxxis Minion DHF/Aggressor tyres
Shimano M8100 XT derailleur and shifter
OneUp V2 210mm dropper post
Ergon Saddle & Grips
Crank brothers Stamp 1 composite pedals
Hope 155mm Cranks
Nukeproof 38mm rise bars
To follow:
Nukeproof Horizon stem when I receive the knockblock adapter
Rockshox super deluxe ultimate is on the way...
Apart from that, totally standard.
