Rail (750Wh) 2022 Rail 750 Motor Guard | Part Number?

I've fallen victim of the infamous cracked motor guard on my carbon 2022 Rail 750Wh. Is this the same part number as the 2020/2021 guard?

According to the 2022/23 Parts, no.

W5253938 is what you need, although I own / have owned both bikes and mounts look identical. Perhaps vent holes are different?

Update here. Finally got a new motor guard from Trek and purchased this aluminum guard that probably will hopefully reduce the chance of me cracking the guard again. Will keep you guys posted on whether or not this thing works out.

Have the same on both our Rails. Only thing is that mud etc. gets wedged into the gap but that's inevitable with this level of protection. They're based only 20 miles from us, small world.

I have that Guard on my Rail also and it has had some heavy hits
Mainly because of bad judgement on my part sometimes , but its stood up well bar some nasty marks .

I just hope this will prevent my motor guard from cracking and chewing up my carbon like the original one.
