Holy cow, my initial subscription had run out. The adds have become absurdly intrusive - click on a thread and it jumps to an add that was never visible. Rob, if the forum was running like this when I originally joined I'd be annoying people elsewhere.

I use add blocker at home but when on work PC the adds are so annoying, a fiver well spent but shame it doesn't make Tapatalk add free.

I agree, I've never seen anything like it in the 100's of forums I've used! I subbed the same day I think, but for a fiver it's an absolute bargain. I too wonder how anyone can use the forum without subbing, it would drive me nuts.

I thought the setup was crazy at first, but in hindsight I think it's actually really good. If the forum was view by sub only by default I would never have joined, at least having ads (as intrusive as they are) lets a newbie get a feel for what content is available and how busy it is. And then for a measly fiver a year it's a no brainer. I like it!

It doesn't feel like you're taking pricing seriously ? It's almost insulting ! :D

A Levo expert now costs £10,000 ! If you want something in 2 colours - it's £14,250.

If you're poor and can only afford the frame/motor/battery - so basically, if you can tune walk mode to rotate the crank once every 12 hours, a very expensive - but stylish - wall clock (rechargable) - £7,500

A Kenevo is now £8,750.

The smaller battery version with a smaller motor - intended for ladies ? KSL (Kenevo Special Ladies) , which should be cheaper, is now £9,500 It doesn't seem fair that ladies have to pay more for less - though as any who have dated @BAMBAMODA know, that is the way of the world.

With UK inflation around 10% and not really representing real world prices, Turkey around 80% and Venezuela at around 1200%, it just doesn't feel like we're getting value for money anymore - it's too cheap !

I've been posting on Endless sphere since 2008 but thought I'd take a look and see what else there is out there on the WWW and found this place.

I'm sorry, but I just can't take all the ads and don't see why I have to spend money for something I already get for free. Besides this forum isn't as popular or busy as ES and doesn't have hardly any technical info...

Wow, 14 years he posted on ES .. yet in 2 hours here he posted once. He certainly didn't contribute anything technical or from my perspective popular, interesting, funny or useful to the community or the world in general.

I came .. I complained .. I left .. sounds like one of @BAMBAMODA's more successful date nights.

This thread has amazed me for three reasons:
1. Reading the internet on a computer is still a thing
2. How few people have ad blockers. They are free for all popular browsers on computers and a few quid on iOS, probably the same on povo-phone.
3. That Rob would make the forum that annoying unless you pay the £5 year or use an adblocker.
