In 3:19 it seems as the water of the Ganges is flowing...
And no safety glasses or gloves, scary.

Pretty much hand crafted, but there’s enough labor.

When I worked for a large UK carparts factor, one of the directors visited an Indian factory and was shocked to see wheel bearings being assembled from a pile of bits by workers sat on the floor.

Another visit to China to view and buy 'Genuine' Bosch mass air flow sensors resulted in a 40ft container of poor quality unsaleable MAFS. The concept of open and shared design definitely doesn't result in shared quality.

This ones's almost as mad ..

re-cycling batteries .. this is how I imagine @apac spending his cold dark winter evenings ....

What do you think of the serial battery charging at the end ?

OK, so this one has some uses . I'm expecting to either see some forum members producing their own brake pads or imminently suffering from loss of fingers, eyes and having lung issues. Don't panic when it happens, but just so you know, someone does wear a glove about 6:30 in.

jesus, I hope I've not Breathed in similar fumes to what they were dealing with melting all that lead at high temperature, and surprised their clothes weren't riddled with holes from the acid.
Brilliant charging process at the end by just lying a lump of metal between the terminals😂. Weird that they run the cells in series when charging. normally you would build up a parallel group so the voltage stays the same and just the amp hour grows. Then again I know FA about lead acid. But yes, I've had many a long evening soldering and welding packs together. Some were more ghetto than the ones in that clip.

Interesting, impressive and scary video of sprocket manufacture in Pakistan.

I remember using Cincinnati horizontal milling machines back in the day whilst working at the BT research labs, although even in the 1980s we had digital readouts fitted. In truth this was very much like my apprenticeship before starting there !!!

Are these your new clean YT recommendations that you can share with more than Bam?

I bet your labs had doorways though, not just holes in the walls. 😂
