It definently simplifies drivetrain clean up, and can only help the rest. I don't wash my bike with a hose, I dry it out, and brush it off.
Dry it out overnight with the blower. 10 minutes or less with a brush.

Hi all from Portugal,
been lurking about for a few weeks trying to learn as much as I could about e-mtbs.
first ebike for me, first ridden this past weekend, been riding only for a couple years now on a 2018 canyon spectral. I still love that bike and its killing me to sell it, but this thing here...wow...struggling to put it in words but I bet most people here can relate to when they first got one.
Just needs a proper saddle and my favorite grips, don't plan on upgrading much for now.
