Bafang M500 and M600 motors

Too close may also give erratic results. So just be aware of that. The manual says >5 and <25mm

Yeah from reading posts on here it seems to be more of an issue for M600 users, maybe the sensor input circuit Is less sensitive on M600 than on M500. Certainly with my M600 if I set the sensor-magnet gap to 25mm the signal is no good.

Thanks for all the feedback guys! I had previously tried moving the sensor / magnet for quite some time, trying different numbers of washers and alignment, all to no avail. Having seen all of your responses yesterday I thought I'd try again, initially I only managed to make it worse, weirdly until I turned the magnet 180 degrees then it seemed to fix the issue. I won't know if it's really fixed until I try some steep inclines. The current placement is closer than 5mm, I'd guess at more like around 2mm. Thanks again for all the feedback.

If it occur one more time, replace the steel screw sensor fixation by one in alloy (non-magnetic). i'm curious to see if it's really solve the problem (working on mine)

Whilst I'm more familiar with the M400 and M620 Bafang motors, I have usually relied on, GreenBikeKits (GBK). I would send them an email to see whether they have spares of the M500/M600.
I'll leave a link to their website below and yes, they do ship to the UK.
Is that a EU retailer? (I'm from Sweden so us retailer get damn expensive in fees and tax, and what's the order to delivery times like, need a new controller after a f-up when try to connect a FDTI adapter to my stock m400....)

...So I went out over the weekend and unfortunately the issue still remains. It's marginally better, in that it doesn't occur quite so often, but it's still a real issue. I've already switched out the sensor bolt to non-magnetic so that wasn't a fix for me. I've sent some more information over to Bafang and Melody and I'll wait to hear what they say...

They're American but they do ship to EU countries as well as the UK.
I trust them as I've brought from them in the past. Just make sure you select the correct postal service for Sweden and if possible, buy more than one item (get spares for the motor like wire looms, displays, chainring, clutches etc).
Failing that, reach out to them via email. They do respond ??

I did send them an email and they are located in China, and they did offer me swift DHL transport (1-3days) but then I have to pay tax and import fees but they had a German partner that act middle man to avoid fees but then it takes 7-10 days to Germany and 3-7days to Sweden.
Sorry fore the OT, but thanks for the tip on that trader.

I know it’s been mentioned somewhere in one of the many threads, but what is the tool for tightening the castellated nut that locks the drive spider on the M600 and where to get it from, thanks.

Por favor, en el conector triangular que es:
- Ánodo
- Cable de alimentación al controlador
- GND
- RxD
-TxD

Gracias

Thanks

Might just take a wee while to get here from Russia but I think its the same as a Shimano Hollowtech BB removal tool, can anyone confirm that ?
To be clear, all these tools are same size, but only right hand one will work. Left hand one cannot fit in recess, and middle one is not deep enough. Hope that helps

remove the spaces as links don't work

I must have typed in the wrong number in Amazon as I had tried there, now having gone back and retyped it, there's a few on there. Thanks.

Another question
CAN H is Rx or Tx
CAN L is Tx or Rx

Thanks
I'm not specialist but for i know Rx Tx are for UART protocol, M500/600 are in can bus

wiring to use CAN to usb converter and thread on the subject
