Wind here was terrible all weekend - not safe to ride out in the open. 
Typically, the wind has died, the temp has increased 7C and the sun is out...

Todays ride has me believing some of those carbide spikes would be nice... and a fat bike to install them on. Hope it warms up before I do something stupid.

Did a mad dash at 5pm 6.5miles through the mud down by the river. Two circuits and back home before too dark.
Felt good to be out!
That's a tough call, rutted deep mud or frozen rutted deep mud?
It's been frozen here in Kentucky for two weeks, and this is a bit unusual, and I'm ready for the thaw.
The frozen ruts are certainly dangerous if caught-out trying to ride fast, but a fun new balance game to play, when just trying to ride slow and "clean".
At least I'm not fighting ticks, chiggers and crashing over turtles this time of year.
As well, I haven't had to clean anything for two weeks straight, just lube and ride.
I often wonder, what paradise would be good for, after the first few weeks? Better maybe to struggle with mud, frozen mud, and deep ruts.
Ten miles in a week really isn't that impressive!

This winter in Lapland first ever ebike ride in my life with rental full suspension fat-e-bike. I was sold then on the ebike idea. This gave me the push to buy an ebike.

The exact place is Levi Ski Resort in Finland. The pictures were taken couple months ago.
