Same, I ordered mine pretty quick. I wonder where I am in the que. This is much better news than I was expecting. Now I will be refreshing my email a dozen times a day until I get an email from Commencal as well. Lol

Mine shipped yesterday with ETA this Friday. Meta Power 29 Signature, day one preorder. Will post an update once I know what's in the box![]()
You are in the US correct?Mine shipped yesterday with ETA this Friday. Meta Power 29 Signature, day one preorder. Will post an update once I know what's in the box![]()
Yup.You are in the US correct?
I think it depends if you are in wave 1 (December pre-orders) or wave 2 (February pre-orders).Awesome. Hopefully I will get mine sooner then!
I think your correct. Spoke w Commencal again (probably getting sick of me at this point) and they let me know it depended on when you ordered. You get a lot of different answers from different people there but bikes are shipping out (the guy I talked to today told me the holdup was batteries -- not the motor recall). They still gave me the Feb date for delivery though.I think it depends if you are in wave 1 (December pre-orders) or wave 2 (February pre-orders).
Same here. Friday is the day!Mine shipped yesterday with ETA this Friday. Meta Power 29 Signature, day one preorder. Will post an update once I know what's in the box![]()
Well, looks like I will get it earlier. Just talked with someone and my bike will be sent out in the next day or two.Fingers crossed you get it earlier than then??
I'll post some pics when mine comes ??

Couple days after announcement, September 2nd as far as I remember. When was the first day you could pre-order?
Couple days after announcement, September 2nd as far as I remember.
I will have a New In Box Signature Meta Power 29 in the now unobtainable color Electric Lagoon/White (think of the rarity!) available for sale on Friday for the bargain price of just $14,000! What a deal! Why wait? You guys are killing me!!! I gotta wait till next year!!!
I ordered early, not sure when, but just a few hours later they were no longer available. When was the first day you could pre-order?
Ordered mine Sept 4 at around noon. By 2pm they were no longer available (large Signature)Couple days after announcement, September 2nd as far as I remember.
This is my 3rd bike from Commencal, always stuck with Large even though reach keeps getting longer (460mm -> 470mm -> 475mm), and top tube shorter (625mm -> 625mm -> 614mm)Anyone else confused by the geometry?
Reach and stack seem to fit, but the TT seems super short (cause STA is so steep). I wonder if I should choose the frame size primarily by the reach I like (size s) or by TT length and sizing table (m at 1,71m).
Anyone else stuck between two sizes?
The only other Commencal I own is a 2017 Furious in size m. Compared by the numbers it seems tiny (even if you compare it with the size s Meta Power SX). So size m SX seems way off for me, but I could be wrong, since Commencal recommends size m for 1,68m-1,80m.This is my 3rd bike from Commencal, always stuck with Large even though reach keeps getting longer (460mm -> 470mm -> 475mm), and top tube shorter (625mm -> 625mm -> 614mm)
So you are 3 cm in the recommendation of size s an 1 cm before the m recommendation. I am just the other way around ?I am a shy over 167cm and went with a small based. I like the more nimble feeling of a smaller bike on the downhills. I have learned over the years to trust what the manufacturers recommend in terms of sizing, and then if I am stuck between sized I go smaller. that said, I have a shorter torso.
I prefer the shape of the frame just above the motor though, with the slight angle up vs the other 2021 pic of the Essential MT29, motor seems like it wants to be angled up slightly more... purely for aesthetics mind...

The pics give a nice comparison of the EP8 vs E8000 sizes. The EP8 looks like a nice improvement.dunno if it's been mentioned... but has anyone noticed the frame design above the motor appears to be different on the new Dirt and Graphite models ?
As per the comment above I made in August when the first pics leaked... it seems to angle up more to the downtube...

EDIT* ... scrap that... looks like the renders for the Graphite and Dirt are not using the EP8 and seem based on the 2020 model for some reason.
